It may take up to 6months (around July/August) before TIP PO will be listed and put in investors CSCS account. Any information on this?

That's more than I used to trade for a whole month in 2024.

But Govt set up and ran petroleum refineries through it's parastatal NNPC, didn't it?
The Gold and Lithium Refineries will be overseen by the Ministry of Mines and Power as Petroleum Refineries are overseen by the Ministry of Petroleum.

I'm used to it.

It's foolhardy to try catching absolute tops or bottoms.

I take what I can and stay contented 😁.

That's why my portfolio has a better performance than Agba's. He's still waiting for absolute bottoms.

The Gold and Lithium Refineries will be overseen by the Ministry of Mines and Power as Petroleum Refineries are overseen by the Ministry of Petroleum.
The Solid Mineral Refineries may be run by a non-ministerial parastatal yet to named, under the Ministry.

This may be positive news for Japaulgold and other miners because it seems that gold refineries are expensive to set up. So you just sell your raw gold to the Refineries if you really have any.

That was then. They're thinking of off loading the refineries now

Of course it's better to set up your own when able. Don't we have Govt and Private refineries?

But the Govt Refineries will help those who are not able(yet).

And starting a new experiment in Solid Minerals refining.

Everything I've said on this is purely my speculation.

Na so most bidders go queue up at the upper bound price unlike the less liquid stocks. People will only buy now for dividend.
What do you think they will pay as final dividend? I think most will just repeat the same thing they paid for last year
First Bank needs to go up to at least N1. Preferably N2.5
UBA needs to go up to at least N2.5

It could even be that the Top Guy is infatuated with gold production. You may never know the real reasons governments do some things they do.

Hamachi:
Good morning, fellow investors,

I currently have N400k available and am looking to invest in a stock (or a small basket of stocks) that could deliver reasonable gains within the next 12 months.

I’d really appreciate insights from experienced investors on:

Sectors or stocks you believe have solid upside over the next year

Whether it makes sense to deploy capital now or wait for a potential bear market / pullback before buying

Any risk-management strategies you’d recommend for a 1-year time horizon

I understand there are no guarantees and I’m doing my own research—just looking to hear different perspectives.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and guidance.
With 400k consider Zenith if you can see again below 67, Aradel below 720, Presco below 1500, NAHCO below 108.

Just buy only one stock so you can get meaningful capital appreciation or dividend.

The risks on these stocks are low.

Remember the final decision are yours, do your due diligence, stock investing comes with risks nothing is certain.

I don’t mind Government running businesses when it comes to mining, agriculture, and construction (to a lesser extent)

Do we have gold deposits in or near Lagos so as to optimize the operations of the refinery?
Gold is an asset can be easily transported in small quantity, but high value so transporting the raw gold over a long distance could aid diversion etc/
Anyway, wish them the best.
Everybody is now rushing after gold... Japual, Oando, Deapcap etc
