Trading on shares of Premier Paints has resumed. Just watch as price is pumped. The only difference between this and Aso Savings is that there will be no regulator to pull the rug.

Buyer beware. They have managed to submit quarterly and audited statements of about 5 years in under 3 weeks.
Well, I don't know who's behind this moniker but your caution is not bad.

However, if you follow some recent news on Premier Paints, maybe you'll get yourself updated the more.

No one is paying me for info here, so I won't say much.
Where have you even seen the Premier Paints to buy now self?

On ASO SAVINGS, there are some reasons some of us picked when suspension was lifted, if it had delivered 10 baggers by now, some people won't come and castigate it.

DEAPCAP that was the toast of investors now, was once on life support but now, it's getting things right.

CBN played politics with ASO, if not they would have allowed the company restructure and get on the right track as well.

What are the implications of this? I thought Oyedele said that even the President can't suspend implemention of the law.
Maybe the govt has realized they need to fix some things before they go ahead. The controversies seem much.

“The new tax laws exempt someone who sells up to 150 million Naira a year. Why are people selling 1 million Naira in panic? The danger of misinformation. That fake news, because it’s fake, it’s not supported by data, led to real losses for people, including some people whose pensions are with PFAs, lost money,” he said.

The above comment by Taiwo Oyedele shows he does not understand how the market works. He does not know that it is the big spenders (buyers/sellers) that provide the liquidity that anchors price movement, gains, ''value'', confidence etc. in the market, which then attracts smaller investments by other investors.
Without the big time institutional and international investors, the market would tank and there would be little or nothing to attract the N1m investors.
He is busy pursuing and pushing policy decisions that would affect the market but does not understand how the market reacts or relates to these decisions.

Humility is a virtue.
He obviously said he loves their failure experience, so let him get as much of it as he wants.

Since when has advise become something that's forced?

who made you the judge of experienced?

The folks you regard as experienced? why do you not realize that where their own experience stops is where that of some other people begins? you prefer to think of me as inexperienced, isn't that a faulty assumption on your part?

these people whether novice or failures should learn to only comment only on things they understand, and only offer their useless advise to those who solicit them.

That should not be hard.

I think they are in effect suspending the law but using the pretext of lack of implementation guidelines.

But I doubt if they would admit to suspend the laws yet.
There is this arrogance of power and desperation to extort money by hook or crook from the masses to fund their phantom govt policies and projects.

I knew him to be a gentle, easy going guy but he should be diplomatic in his remarks and careful how he defends the govt.
After completing the job (reform proposals) as a consultant, he should allow the Finance minister and NRS chairman to do most of the talking, but he is still the loudest amongst them.

You're simply misinterpreting.

A guy failed at trading, someone else says he values the guys experience, then I wished him the same experience. Why do you see that other than what it simply is?

It's a simple statement.

If someone asks you for advice on how to trade this market, you respond.

Lots of newbies do it here all the time.

Those who do not understand depth, but like to think the market stops at the limit of their knowledge will and should always be resisted when they push funny opinions.

I mean since when does it make sense for anyone to think that because they failed at something, then everyone else must fail at it, why aren't you calling out that actual arrogance?

I thought you said he's the only one that understands the tax laws na .

Doesn't that explain why he has to do most of the talking?

Do you honestly believe the NRS chairman understands all that's written in those laws?
😁😁😁

That's why NRS is waiting for Mr Taiwo to develop implementation guidelines for him na.

Today, market dipped for the first time this year.

If I made a loss, I would have posted it so at least some people can find joy in that 😁😁😁

But as it turned out, I did not.

Later, I will post a screenshot of my session. It's another ATH for volumes. Third ATH for me this week.

Week has been my best, thank God!!!

Lol grin grin
I think the issue is he wants to impress the govt and defend the reforms at all costs. He only started softening pedal after the NGX nearly collapsed in November after all complaints felt on deaf ears. The Finance minster is still the owner of the reforms, so he should be the one leading the discussions. Taiwo is not even included in the Implementation Committee that the minister formed to oversee the process

My post on Premier Paints has nothing to do with any previous post on it and that is why i was careful not to quote any. Its my own reading of the situation. If you have followed trend in some of previously stagnant companies, like Standard Alliance (now fortis global) and IEI before Aso Savings and Loans, and now Premier Paints, it starts by

1. Mass release to NGX of backlog of previously unfiled quarterly and audited financial statements
2. Lifting of technical suspension on trading
3. Pumping of share price
4. Unveiling of plans for Public offer, rights issue etc. just like the case of Aso

Some of these companies go on to do well like IEI. Nevertheless people who are unaware of the trend should be and make up their mind if to go ahead and speculate or not. All man with his portfolio.

Not every reference to Aso Savings is a reference to you and if you bought or not. It will always be a good example of when speculation failed and will be referenced continously just as you have also referenced some instances when speculation worked out.
