Today, market dipped for the first time this year.

If I made a loss, I would have posted it so at least some people can find joy in that 😁😁😁

But as it turned out, I did not.

Later, I will post a screenshot of my session. It's another ATH for volumes. Third ATH for me this week.

Week has been my best, thank God!!!
Do you sit in front of your lap top throughout trading session?

IEI that has negative shareholders fund grin grin grin

All these price movement look like a scam.

Im just watching.

IEI (International Energy Insurance Plc) currently has a negative shareholders' fund of N7.7 billion, according to reports from June 2024. This negative balance is due to accumulated losses of over N22 billion, which prevents the company from paying dividends until its balance sheet is restructured

PropTrader:
My post on Premier Paints has nothing to do with any previous post on it and that is why i was careful not to quote any. Its my own reading of the situation. If you have followed trend in some of previously stagnant companies, like Standard Alliance (now fortis global) and IEI before Aso Savings and Loans, and now Premier Paints, it starts by

1. Mass release to NGX of backlog of previously unfiled quarterly and audited financial statements
2. Lifting of technical suspension on trading
3. Pumping of share price
4. Unveiling of plans for Public offer, rights issue etc. just like the case of Aso

Some of these companies go on to do well like IEI. Nevertheless people who are unaware of the trend should be and make up their mind if to go ahead and speculate or not. All man with his portfolio.

Not every reference to Aso Savings is a reference to you and if you bought or not. It will always be a good example of when speculation failed and will be referenced continously just as you have also referenced some instances when speculation worked out.

I guess he cashed out around #50 and went into japaul. And jegede thought him hard lesson in December and he became cool like others that repented from baptism of jegede on other people money

Has anyone been able to view December CPI numbers? It's being a tough struggle loading the attachment NBS shared on X.

Good luck to the guy and perhaps all those that heeded the call.
The truth is, if one runs away from Mecure then, it wouldn't be termed a bad investment decision. I await anyone to lecture me on what else Mecure does other than the diagnostic centers in Ibadan, Lagos and perhaps other places in Nigeria.

There are many in the category of Mecure like that.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 6:52pm On Jan 15
I'm reading a funny report from NBS that November 2025 inflation which we already celebrated to be 14.45% is now indeed 17.33%

😁😁

So this 15.15% is still over 200bps drop.

Basically, they had to change their math 😁😁

Some people here will still yab them for this.

If you're not a trader. There are dozens of fundamentally sound stocks that will absorb your funds easily even if you're investing billions.

It's prudent to stick with those, and not be bothered about any quick 300%

The headline isn't always accurate.

Like when we read that NCR did 1300% in 2025.

The reality is that less than 20 people in the whole country could have held up to 1 million units of the stock, more important is that fact that those who bought at the year low and sold at the year high are even fewer.

Comparisons Should be done of my portfolio this year vs my portfolio last year, that's the only comparison that really matters. If anyone likes let them make 7000% on a position, I'll be good with my 2-5% .

A big thank you to everyone that answered my question about champion breweries. I'm now trying to fill out the champion breweries public offer application form. Some parts I don't understand like:
Clearing house number
Depository number
Stockbroker Member code

For some insight, I'm using the Meristem app and I've funded my account already.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

NGX Delisting Notice

ASO Savings and Loans Plc will be delisted from the Nigerian Exchange effective January 16, 2026, following approval by NGX Regulation Limited.

📌 The delisting follows the revocation of ASO’s operating license by the CBN (effective Dec 16, 2025).

⚠️ This serves as official notice to shareholders and capital market participants.

Was the question directed to you?

What's wrong with asking someone if he is a full time day trader?
What's wrong with someone sitting in front of his lap top throughout the trading session? Incase you don't know, that's what full time day traders do.

This thread is now filled with angry, jealous, shallow minded and irrelevant individuals.

Use of the word "irresponsible" is not play.

I asked an honest question.
The person the question was directed to probably misunderstood me and ignored only for one faceless individual to label someone irresponsible.

Maybe they want everyone to leave the thread for them. They will soon achieve their aim. embarassed

https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Financial_NewsDocs/23_AUSTINLAZ-Notification_of_sharedealing_(1).pdf Finally, the owner of AustinLaz Plc, Mr ASIMONYE AUSTIN LAZARUS AZUBUIKE is selling off his shares in his own Company. Trade cautiously...

The man has cashed out about 228 Million Naira from his shares in his own Company. Who and who bought those shares?😁

In case you missed the information, last year, Austin Laz was pumped from N1.70, and was dumped at N5.70. That was a massive 235% gain. If you know, you know.
