Got back into TRANSCORP this January. I believe it will do a double on the post-reconstruction price.
SEPLAT is outside my league grin.
Profit takers will make MTN struggle to get to this target price. I'll be glad to see at 700.

Sunrisepebble:
My target prices for the below:
GTCO 120
MTNN 800
SEPLAT 9,000+
TRANCORP 60-70
VITAFOAM- 120
WAPCO- 200
ZENITH - 90-100

I don’t see much upside in NAHCO any longer. Dollar is stable and DPS for FY will not give you a 10% yield at current price. Will they continue to grow revenue and earnings the way they did previously. Their Q3 was evident of that.
Pa Emma I would like to hear your opinion @Emmanuelewumi

Seplat I was loading throughout December at 5,300. I didn’t even know Elumelu would add a catalyst to it. I still think it’s a buy here, NFA.
MTN will no doubt get to 800 within the next 12 months. Q3 standalone EPS was N16, if you assume they don’t grow earnings at all next year, and they’ve been growing revenue by 25% previously even without tariff increase. Then EPS will be N64 next year, their average historical PE is around 12x. They will also most likely be paying out a huge ratio next year because they’ve restored negative equity position. I won’t be surprised to see a N50+ DPS for 2026.

I love this your valuation. I have all the underlisted stocks with the exception of Vitafoam. They will all pay fantastic dividend. I will continue my quest for portfolio rebalancing to maximize my dividend.

What do you think about the comment from reddit?

Do NOT buy the Dangote Refinery stock immediately on the first day.

Wait 2–6 months before entering.

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BUY IMMEDIATELY (IMPORTANT)

1. New stocks often launch at a high price

When a big company like Dangote lists, demand is very high:

• hype
• media attention
• institutional buying
• excitement from retail investors

This pushes the price up too high in the first days or weeks.

After the hype ends → the price usually drops.

2. Early investors normally take profit

Banks, institutions and insiders who got early allocation often sell some shares after listing.

This causes the price to fall.

3. Better buying opportunities come later

Historically, Nigerian IPOs behave like this:

Day 1–14 → price rises (hype)
Month 1–3 → price stabilises
Month 3–6 → price pulls back
After 6 months → strong buying opportunity

This happened with:

• MTN Nigeria
• Seplat
• Flour Mills
• Airtel Africa
• Dangote Cement (old listing behaviour)

THE BEST STRATEGY FOR YOU

Wait 2–6 months before buying.

You will get:

• better price
• less hype
• more clarity on refinery operations
• more stable market conditions

During this waiting period you will see:

• actual revenue
• performance
• crude supply stability
• production output
• profit margins

Then you invest with confidence.
It is true. It is risky buying stock without any historical price action.

The early investors would definitely cash out if the price pumped.

Good luck to the guy and perhaps all those that heeded the call.
The truth is, if one runs away from Mecure then, it wouldn't be termed a bad investment decision. I await anyone to lecture me on what else Mecure does other than the diagnostic centers in Ibadan, Lagos and perhaps other places in Nigeria.

There are many in the category of Mecure like that.

Really? I didn't know.
Mega should not stop his stock picks and recommendations ooo. It has been very positive and helpful so far.

I don’t think it’s that undervalued anymore. I believe that the price will get back to pre bonus dilution price. I’ve also heard their Q1 numbers are good, they’re still growing revenue and EPS. So I’m holding for now. Although I trimmed some around 92-94
Thanks. Its on my watch-list as well but its not sexy enough for me. Its one of the stocks I will be watching when the correction comes

Contact a stockbroker of your choice and they will process it for you.
You'll be provided with several forms, one of which will ask you to list the quantity of the different stocks you had purchased with the closed firms. This will enable their transfer to the new brokers you have decided to use. If you don't know your stockholdings, you may need to apply to CSCS for your statement/list of stocks.
It may take a few months (or more) after submission of your documents to get them moved to your new brokers.
Hope this helps.

Got this from my bank.

We hope your new year has started on a pleasant note.

We would like to notify you that, in line with the new Nigeria Tax Act (NTA), a 10% Withholding Tax (WHT) will now apply to the following;

· Interest earned on all savings accounts, regardless of the account balance.
· Interest earned on foreign currency (FCY) denominated deposits.

This update is effective from Thursday, 01 January 2026.

Please note that these WHT deductions are in accordance with the Withholding (Deduction at Source) Regulations, 2024.

Thank you for banking with us.

Best regards

It is good that they informed you. But, I can assure you, only 0.0005% of people that transacts with banks or have accounts with banks will be deducted this.

How many customers earn interest on their savings for a start?

How many have FCY not to talk on earning interest on the deposits therein.

However, be rest assured that those that do not even know what it takes to open a Dom account will make the loudest noise especially on the social media.

Although healthcare is heavily under-invested in Nigeria, I just don't see the investment case. What am I missing here? Unless you have unique market access, distribution advantages, or brand power, local manufacturing is usually a losing proposition.

What advantage does MeCure bring to pharma? Most of their active pharmaceutical ingredients -- the largest component of cost of production -- are imported because we don't have local chemical manufacturing capacity. Drugs are lightweight and inexpensive to import. People instinctly view imported brands as having superior quality.

Manufacturers like Larfarge and Presco make it work because their inputs are locally sourced and imports are banned or restricted. Nestle and Nigerian Breweries spend an arm and a leg on brand promotion, and are increasingly backward integrated.

From the video, NAFDAC isn't renewing importing licences for some products. They are forcing local production.

Due to being in health category, it has import duty waivers on some raw material imports so it's seems cheaper than before.

Also, being manufacturing as well as health related, They are qualified to also receive VAT cash-back from Govt on raw materials sourced locally or use it to offset other tax liabilities.
