INSURANCE STOCKS ARE THE NEXT BIG MOVE — DON’T SLEEP ON THEM
Everyone is chasing banks and oil stocks, but smart money is quietly positioning in the insurance sector.
Insurance stocks are still cheap, undervalued, and just starting their rerating phase.
Look at what is happening already:
AIICO — improving earnings, strong restructuring, heavy institutional interest
Mutual Benefits — consistent volume build-up, turnaround story playing out
Consolidated Hallmark, Cornerstone, NEM, Custodian — all waking up
The sector is moving because: ✔ Rising premium income
✔ Better regulation
✔ Improved balance sheets
✔ Recapitalisation effect
✔ Strong dividend expectations
🔥 SPECIAL FOCUS: ROYAL EXCHANGE (ROYALEX)
Royal Exchange is not just an insurance stock.
It is a Financial Services stock with operations in:
Insurance
Asset management
Finance & investments
That makes it more like DEAP Capital and other financial stocks that moved from kobo to multiple naira.
We all saw what happened to: ➡ DEAP Capital — from below ₦1 to ₦4+
➡ FTNCO
➡ Abbey Mortgage
➡ UACN Property
Royal Exchange is currently where those stocks were before the explosion.
Low price
Low market cap
High leverage potential
Financial services exposure
Once volume enters, this stock can rerate very fast.
SUMMARY
Insurance stocks are the most underpriced sector on the NGX right now.
AIICO and Mutual Benefits are leading the move.
Royal Exchange is the dark horse financial stock waiting to surprise the market.
Smart investors position early.
Latecomers chase.
💬 What insurance stock are you holding?

I think say na only me that company called witchcraft do strong thing. Lol.
And when I eventually managed to transfer my stock, I ended up with a second account with the new brokers even though they had promised to 'merge' them at the end of the day.

Of course change is constant......
They also have lots of expenses/expenditures to take care of...
We can all see what's happening in the economy.....What N1k can buy some years ago, 5k can't buy it now...
BUT even if there'll be changes, it can't be a sharp one I blvd.....
The rate is the lowest in the industry so far

They have live trading platform but no iTrade/live streaming yet...
The company may work on this overtime
It's a big company with higher foreign participation.....
You can also make more inquiry from their customer support

💬 What insurance stock are you holding?
I been trying to get Royalex for some days now to no avail. ☹️
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by essentialone(m): 9:37pm On Jan 20
Stockpromoter:
NEXT BOOM
*ROYALEX* IS NOT JUST INSURANCE — IT IS A FINANCIAL SERVICES STOCK
Many investors are still wrongly tagging Royal Exchange Plc (ROYALEX) as “just another insurance stock.”

That is a big mistake.
ROYALEX is now a financial services holding company with interests across:
*Insurance
*Asset management
*pensions & financial advisory
*Investment services

This puts Royalex in the same broader sector as DEAP Capital, Chams, Africa Prudential and other financial service stocks that have recently delivered massive rallies.

📈 PEER COMPARISON: DEAP CAPITAL AS A CLEAR EXAMPLE
Look at what happened to DEAP Capital:
Traded below ₦1
Moved to over ₦4+ within a short time
Driven purely by speculative rotation into financial services stocks
Yet fundamentally, Royalex is:
Older
More established
Better known brand
Wider business scope
If DEAP can move 300–400%, Royalex has no business sitting where it is.

🔄 MARKET ROTATION IS REAL — INSURANCE WILL CATCH UP
The market has already rotated into:
Banking stocks
Industrial stocks
Consumer goods
Tech & financial services
Only insurance and micro-financial stocks are still lagging.
This is normal market behavior.

Late sectors always become the next rally zone.
When insurance finally wakes up, the move is usually fast and aggressive.
💎 WHY ROYALEX IS A HIDDEN GEM
Very low price = easy retail entry
Strong brand name
Financial services positioning
High speculative appeal
Low float relative to demand potential
Easy candidate for momentum traders

This is the kind of stock that:
Moves quietly for weeks
Then explodes 100–300% in days
🎯 WHAT ROYALEX NEEDS NOW: VISIBILITY & VOLUME
Price is not moving because:
Awareness is low
Volume is still weak
Traders are chasing already-ran stocks
Once volume enters, Royalex will not wait for anyone.
📢 MARKET MESSAGE
Royalex is not an insurance stock — it is a financial services stock.
And financial services stocks are the next big rotation play.
Smart money positions early.
Late money chases candles.

(Locotrader)
The Rate at which Chams Plc is going, it may likely hit a new 52-weeks Highest Price before the end of this week, and that means a new ATH.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 10:34pm On Jan 20
I bet it's not. How do you birth a child at 70 when you know you are close to your grave! Yes, you desire the joy of being called a parent but shouldn't you reserve a thought for the child you are going to abandon as infant?
