I bet it's not. How do you birth a child at 70 when you know you are close to your grave! Yes, you desire the joy of being called a parent but shouldn't you reserve a thought for the child you are going to abandon as infant?
What about those who birth a child at 30 and died almost immediately.

You can give birth at anytime, the most important thing is to have assets and Investments that will sustain the children.

The founder of Punch newspaper died over 40 years ago at the age of 50.

His friends and family helped him to manage his business and investments well that the children lacked nothing as in education and money.

It was reported last year that his grandchildren ie the daughters of late Jaiye Aboderin got N3.5 billion from the family Trust Fund when they graduated.

DAILY PICK ALERT — ROYALEX (NGX)
Stock: Royal Exchange Plc (ROYALEX)
Sector: Financial Services / Insurance
Market Status: Undervalued | Accumulation Phase
Trend: Building momentum
🔍 MARKET OUTLOOK
Royal Exchange remains one of the most undervalued financial stocks on the NGX today.
While banking, oil and consumer stocks have already delivered 200%–1000% returns, insurance stocks are just starting their rerating phase — and Royalex is one of the best positioned to benefit.
The stock is still trading at a deep discount to its intrinsic value.
Smart money is positioning quietly.
💎 WHY ROYALEX IS A STRONG BUY
✅ Listed under Financial Services, not just insurance
✅ Over 100 years brand history
✅ Recapitalisation and restructuring upside
✅ Strong asset base
✅ Low price entry point
✅ Much lower outstanding shares than most insurance peers
✅ Tight float — easier price movement
✅ Any serious accumulation can move price fast
Royalex is not just an insurance company.
It is a financial services group with multiple revenue streams.
⚖️ ROYALEX vs OTHER INSURANCE STOCKS
Most insurance stocks have 30–40 billion shares in circulation.
That makes price movement slow and heavy.
Royalex has fewer shares outstanding.
Meaning: 👉 Less supply
👉 Faster movement
👉 Bigger percentage gains
This is why stocks like Deep Capital moved from kobo to ₦4+ in months.
Royalex has the same structure advantage.
📊 TECHNICAL VIEW
Royalex is currently in an accumulation zone.
Sellers are getting weaker
Volume is stabilising
Smart money is building positions
Any breakout will be sharp due to low float
This is classic early-stage positioning.
🎯 PRICE PROJECTION (MID-TERM)
With sector rerating and recapitalisation news flow:
📌 Short term target: ₦3+
📌 Medium term target: ₦5 – ₦7
📌 Long term rerating potential: Double digit price
Current price levels offer rare low-risk, high-reward entry.
🧠 STRATEGY
This is not a stock to trade emotionally.
This is a stock to: ✔ Accumulate
✔ Hold patiently
✔ Let rerating do the work
The money is made before the crowd arrives.
🔔 DAILY MESSAGE TO INVESTORS
Royalex is a sleeping financial giant.
Insurance stocks are the next banking stocks.
Early buyers will be rewarded.
Position now.
Relax later.

There are many perspectives to this.

1. Retirement is NOT at 70 but 60.
2. Retirement could be earlier IF the individual has attained 35years in service.
3. Being childless in Africa is not a joke.
4. Life is in Times and Seasons... ✌🏽

Oga you just flagging a dead horse instead of proffering a solution.

It’s just like your daughter getting pregnant out of wedlock and as her father you overly nagging the issue instead of thinking next steps. Humans are prone errors and time & chance happens to them all. That it happened for you sooner doesn't mean it would have for others that soon.

Instances like this, what is required is give the man his solution from your wealth of knowledge or don’t comment at all

Of course, life is full of happenstances but I believe it is irresponsible to leave situations that are firmly within ones control to fate. African perspectives about children and child bearing is particularly selfish.

I think the bolded is exactly where the issue lies. It is the reason why we have the majority of African children on the streets and out of school. The culture as per children and child bearing reserves very inconsiderate thought for the life being birthed!

Abraham gave birth in his 90s?
Let's us remember that none of us here is God to determine the age someone should give birth or how long one would live on this earth.
What matters is to make provision for the child's wellbeing e.g. assets and investments. One may give birth at age 20 and still in his 20s or 30s!
