Somewhat misleading headline. The playout obviously indicate that much of the fund have been recovered save for about 270m They will go after anything that can be tied to him, house(s), car(s), bank and or crypto accounts. Stay away from money that is not yours. Many have suffered degrading life experiences often ending in jail for Unlawful Conversion. |

Lifestone:There are countries without Interpol operations. However, Interpol isn't even the issue. He lacked knowledge of how to securely move that money in a way that it would be untraceable. 1.5 billion naira can buy you a soft life in the Carribbean and less than 20 million can get you citizenship in the country where Deizianni bought hers from. EFCC can't reach you there. |

fidet1:I wonder too o. What happened to Reversal of the entry/entries for the transaction/transactions? #1.5b? That would stick out too quickly. 1. Branch Cabals will explode even for highbrow branches. 2. FBN can recall all other out gone transfer to other Accounts with a Court injuction and also via CBN. I am sure the guys/guy that made this error would have been sacked long ago after he must have been thoroughly rough handled by the Bank. |

brain54:No money belonging to someone else should be tempting to keep. It's better to negotiate your way out with some of the funds than keep such...I once mistakenly transferred #800k to someone when I reached out he told me he'll only send back #680k because he has a debt of #300k so I should help out with #120k ...I agreed and he send me #700k instead...I later sent him #50k after ...life is about negotiating your way legally...that way you'll avoid shitty experiences like this fellow has gotten himself in. chatinent: chatinent:That's even a worse-off. Wickedtruths:Apt. Shout-out to all nairaland Chess players earning. |

chatinent:Lol Small pikin talk. If na other banks, no problem. First Bank under Otedola no dey play. Them go collect the money complete. They sacked a former MD for not recovering hacked funds, sacked a Marketing Director for planning an extravagant retirement ceremony for the sacked MD. Firstly, before they even arrest you. Approach the Efcc and be on the same page with the Efcc (if you understand). Join APC and spend at least 50M on supporting the state Governor. All you need is 10 billboards in the state capital and 5 in his Zone. Next, get a solid litigation lawyer conversant with Efcc operations and 2 sureties on standby. Propose a deal with the bank. Pay 500M now as full and final settlement, or you will pay 100k per month till the money is complete. Note. No use these common exchanges, they will rat you out. Even if they don't, they have your KYC. Don't let law enforcement get to you. Go to them. You will be able to make a deal before the complaint reaches the regulator. If you dull, they will just plant gun in your house and transfer you to Police for armed robbery and kidnapping. Plant a victim to identify you and na you go dey beg to return money. Punishment for murder na death. That's how big boys do it. Not by chopping slaps in detention and running about. In all, nothing like a good name and rest of mind. Return their money and have peace, not looking over your shoulder every time. |
