There are countries without Interpol operations. However, Interpol isn't even the issue. He lacked knowledge of how to securely move that money in a way that it would be untraceable. 1.5 billion naira can buy you a soft life in the Carribbean and less than 20 million can get you citizenship in the country where Deizianni bought hers from. EFCC can't reach you there.
All of these on top of funds not yours, stolen money.

Indeed, the Nigerian that has not stolen has not really gotten the opportunity.

A very short story....

Manager decide to steal money
Him collide with 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th party etc
Then he sent 1.5b to 2nd party's account....
Then he went to the media to shed crocodile tears after which he called the 3rd and 4th party to play their part.
The 3rd and 4th party went to court with the 2nd party....
The 5th party told the 2nd parry to return a total of 1m so that the gullible public will stop using their brain as regards the matter....

Then the Manager is left with 500m in the second party's account that will be shared adequately when everything dies down...

After all the bank and the bank's insurance will cover for the 500m and bank manager remains with a clean record...

Anybody win or draw....

All the talk about what he did, should have done and should not have done does not concern me.

My concerns are:
* Are the systems so porous in FBN that this could not be discovered within 24 hours?

* Where was the Resident Branch Internal Control Officer?

* Does it mean that branches in the bank do not generate their GL first thing every morning?

* Does it mean the BM does not review his GL every morning?

* Does it mean there are no higher authorities to authorize amounts over a certain threshold?

FBN SHOULD BE THOROUGHLY ASHAMED OF THEIR SYSTEMS AND PROCEDURES.

Something is always fishy with all this banking transfer! So somebody in the bank will just make such a costly and deadly mistake of transferring the sum of N1.5b to a third party account. Haba na! But then, the man has no right to withhold the money that's taking possession what does not belong to you.

If I finedsuch a money in my account I'm going to the bank the next day in company of an EFCC official or a lawyer- just incase (without informing any of my friends, else they might put evill notions in my head) I will ask the Bank why is there such a money in my account. If it needs me retuning it, I'll do that immediately.

One of the below must happen by fire by force prayerfully
1. I will create a friendship/connection with the bank or EFCC. I should get a job with one of them. Such institutions needs a trustworthy, sincere and honest person like me as their staff
2. I'll politely asked to be rewarded (even without asking some might reward you for your honesty) I will let them know I'm a poor man that has never had ordinary 200k to my name thus returning 1.5B without motivation is a big deal
3. I should be given a national honors for being a good citizen.

Lolz
Whether this three things happens or not, I must return the money. If it's not mine, it's not mine even if it's 100Billion

He is going to prison for nothing. EFCC has already recovered 800 million. First Bank on their own did transfer reversal of another 300 million. He has the option of paying a 5 million naira fine or going to prison for 1 year. But he MUST still pay back 272 million naira. If he doesn't, the court will give him a heavier sentence. In all, he has lost.
Here's my take,
He will be able to restitute the 272 million Naira back to the Bank from the place he hid or invested it

Which means out of the 1,5 billion naira, if he is not an idiot, he should be able to hide 50 million Naira, after all the wahala, pay his fine and that is the end of the case ooooooooo mucheche, l am not supporting his CRIME ooooooooo, l am just flowing with the story.

😂

He still has about 132 million left . He isn't going to prison for nothing. At the end he can easily pay the 5m.
