He can even commission it. North has a very good topography/terrain for civil construction. More so, creating right-of-way is extremely easy in the North, as their houses are majorly of mud and no high rise building or gigantic abodes.

I FIRST heard of the project in 2024 and as of 2025, there are videos uploaded about the rail project on YouTube. There are so many impulsive semi-literates and terrible bigots commentating on this thread and NL discussion forum in general who are hired and paid to spread toxic disinformation online and use abusive words on people in positions of authority. President Bola Tinubu’s administration is executing several major road infrastructure projects in South East Igboland.

Key projects, often utilizing concrete pavement, include the Enugu–Onitsha Road, 2nd Niger Bridge access roads, and Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway.

Enugu–Onitsha Road (107 km): Funded partly via the MTN Tax Credit scheme.

Enugu–Onitsha Road (72 km): Reconstruction by CBC.

2nd Niger Bridge Access Road (17.5 km): Dualization and construction.

Enugu–Abakaliki Road (36 km): Ongoing construction.

Lokpanta–Enugu Road (61 km): Dualization.

Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway: Major rehabilitation sections.

Enugu Bridge at Artisan Market: Completed reconstruction.

Akpoha Bridge, Ebonyi State: Completed construction.

Aba-Owerri Road (NNPC Depot Expressway), Abia State: Rehabilitation.

Umuahia to Aba Road: Construction project.

Angingali-Udobi-Udona-Umo-Uwana-Ubalaka Road, Imo State: Construction.

These projects are part of the Renewed Hope Agenda, with the Federal Ministry of Works, led by David Umahi.

3.Akpoha Bridge, Ebonyi: A new bridge was constructed and completed at Akpoha, Ebonyi State.

4.Palliative Road Works: Numerous, smaller palliative road repairs designed to enhance inter-state mobility have been completed across the region.

5.Port Harcourt-Aba Railway: This railway project was reported as completed, delivered, and in operation.

6.NELFUND is also a project.

7.Free Technical colleges with daily free food and payment of #22,500 to all students monthly.

8.Old Pensioners free medical program.

Etc.

Tinubu will still do more.

I hope the bogus sum for the project is not from Niger Delta oil money,because for close to 50 years now,it is oil money that is servicing the entire political economy of Nigeria while the region is in squalors,degradation and what of you.1 trillion naira for Kano rail,over 4trillion for Lagos,and the rest can go to hell .
