KarlTom:OKOMUOIL: over 70% drop in Q4 earnings yoy. Would have been steeper if their oil palm cost of sales were actual cost rather than earnings. Reading AIRTEL's results is merely for mental exercise, the stock is as good as delisted on the NGX. |

KarlTom:I wasn't even comparing Q4 to Q3, I was comparing Q4 '25 to Q4 '24, which are apples to apples in terms of seasonality. |

yMcy56: There are a lot of Facebook sponsored ads now talking about how they predicted the rise of stock A and it rose 300%. I am also seeing the rise of a lot of self proclaimed gurus. They go by the pseudonym "Financial Ada," "FinancialJane" "MoneyCheerleader." Your call for caution to new entrants is timely..........to avoid "Had I Known" |

222Martins:I use to be concerned in the past. Then it looks some of them need to learn the hard way. They are beginning to feel they are smart and the old hands are unwise .They feel we wasted so many yrs to achieve little. So I am gladly waiting to dump any of my sch fees on them |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 11:08am On Jan 30 |
222Martins:Lol. Someone close, a distant neighbor called me yesterday that she would come and see me over the weekend to explain these things to her... That someone somewhere told her to be trading stocks and she now remembered me that has told her about investing a long time ago but she refused.... I was almost begging her to even open a trading account even if she didn't fund it, let it be there, so that once she changed her mind, she can fund it....... Always sending various Public Offers to encourage her but yet not bulging...... Na yesterday she remembered say she get my number.....😁 I've been thinking of the excuse I'll give to avoid meeting with her....😁 Meanwhile, at least if they're trading, let them remember to be taking profits along the way.....na the season be this btw...😊 |

Bbbwings:My estimate for VFD is based on a FY 2025 EPS of approximately N1.25 based on forecast provided by the company even though it's for Q1 2026. I added it to their Q3 2025 since the forecast must have emanated from something. PE of 12.40 Therefore 1.25 x 12.40 = 15.50 Why did I use the PE? I have already explained. |

ZICHIS on full-bid at N4.19 A gentle reminder that TRANSPOWER once listed at N270 and the same full-bid game played out for a while. Today, TRANSPOWER is on full-offer at N307. Imagine the fate and premium tears of those that bought TRANSPOWER at all-time high. ![]() |

222Martins:The bids are reducing..... I think ZICHIS Sector, the small OS and the financials may contribute to the pumping of the stock price..... Possibility of coming to the market to raise funds is also there. We see how it goes anyway.. |

I don't think because people want to open a trading account is a primary sign of a bubble. We should be guided by price of stock being the function of earnings, large deviation from this should specify a problem that must be explain by other factors which must be logical. illogical explanations should be enough for an informed investor to stay away from such companies. Singing bubble at any slight opportunity make the market looks as a difficult game and chase people away. |
