Several things comes to mind at this point..... a vast majority of the churches u are talking about make wardrobe provision for thier choristers (I wonder the congregation u belong) cos if its a small ministry then sis na lie u wan use trend..... I have been in a number of church denominations (I play the piano) and I can say categorically that big ministries make provision more than 80% of the time. And if its not done dear member no be by force to sing on the day u no get uniform abi?
If pastor wants u by all means maybe based on ur part then he should render assistance.

Even with all these church cannot never turn yyou into a runs girl except it was already deep in your heart.

It's alarming how many modern day churches are pushing their members into illicit and criminal activities through their ungodly and antichrist teachings, policies and excessive demands, thereby turning the church into a den of thieves and criminals.

I won't be surprised if the church whose choir she joined is led by a prosperity preacher, because such are the fruits of that antichrist gospel, which has turned many souls, into thieves, ritualists, prostitutes, babalawos, fraudsters, and so on, as a result of the pressure it puts on members, and even leaders, to get rich at all cost by its demonising and segregation of the poor and their poverty.

Instead of helping and giving to the poor as Jesus and His apostle preached and practiced, they would be oppressing, shaming, mocking them, and casting them aside just because of their poverty, thereby pressuring them to get rich at all cost even if it means doing something evil and sinful.

Thank God in her case she didn't allow the pressure from the church to get to her and make her go astray as it did others.

I appreciate her for sharing her story so it could inspire others who find themselves in similar position and being put under such pressure by their church, that It's possible not to bow to such pressure, and it's better to leave such a church before they did such damage to one's soul and spiritual life.

Many church goers and workers do not know God. Instead they worship the so called "man of God" who most likely does not know God.

She is not dragging church. Choir that we know from the early days churches like the Roman Catholic church, Anglican and Methodist use choir gowns, hence choir members are not under pressure to buy any particular kind of wears to use every Sunday. Her message is very clear to everyone who is objective and rational in analysing matters. Everything about most pentecostal churches is exotic pushing those who can't meet up into crimes just to belong.

Correct frugal boss. I also noticed this in the school i teach, Teachers have dress code(uniforms), mondays - thursdays, white and black, while fridays native attires.
I see most female teachers putting on new clothes most of these fridays, now, some male teachers are trying to compete with these females. Well, as for me, i only have one native and i wash, iron and wear it every friday. I know say dem don talk the matter tire for my back. Cos, a male teacher once said on his birthday he is going to sew andco with me. Another one, before the last christmas, one female teacher asked me when am i buying my xmas clothe? . These people are now putting this one native thing in my head oh. Na 50k monthly pay i wan use dey sew cloth every now and then. I have average shirts and trousers to serve me.
