Revenue of less than N150 million in 17 months, admin expenses of N1.2 billion. Admin expenses is higher than revenue.

Operating loss of about N1.8 billion
Agbalowomeri, what's the fair price of ellahlakes?

That is,about ₦8 million as revenue monthly.

So,what year is revenue going to be more than the cost of doing business?

Sell the farms , building, plants, crops and settle debts, they will have about N22 billion. Then dividend by the outstanding shares of 3.86 billion to get about N5.70k.

But since they are not operating at profitable and optimal capacity, it might be a distressed sale and one might not be able to get N5.70l

Ellah Lakes isn’t exactly failing, but it’s also not really operating at scale yet. Most of what’s on the balance sheet is still tied to development, not steady cash flow. The company is spending more cash than it’s earning, and unless costs are cut sharply and one part of the business starts generating real income soon, more funding or dilution looks likely.

Anyone looking at it as a short-term earnings or quick turnaround story may want to go through the numbers again.

Numbers first, narratives later.

To be fair, even raising half of the ~N250 bn would be a remarkable feat of marketing genius for Ellah.

I do not know what is wrong with them too.
Mine has lasted up to 2 weeks now.

Does anyone here use Stanbic IBTC Stocbroker platform. I'm having an awful experience trying to get a single order filled. I've been placing orders daily, and each day they go unfilled, despite my orders being at or above market price.

On the otherhand, i also use United capital, but my order are filled within 15 minutes of placing them.

So, I'm wondering how the largest stockbroker in Nigeria (SISL) is running an inferior system to a smaller broker like UCSL

#Ellahlakes
"Let me focus on the positives while others focus on the negatives". grin

-3month revenue from Oct-Dec is over 50% of 17month revenue!!!

- Other income
(mainly interest received) for 3months ending Dec is over 68% of 17th month revenue.
From other income, Interest received Improved by over 500% comparing this quarter alone(Oct-Dec) with the trailing 12months ending July 2025.

EPS improved by +0.07 Y-0-Y.

Positive Summary
They aren't scaling highly as also noted by @Osita.
But topline improved in their last 3 months compared to not just trailing 12month but to the trailing 17months. That's impressive!!

Other income especially
interest income shows they are scaling up other income sources.
( albeit slowly relative to shareholders expections)

Improvement in recent Quarterly returns was overshadowed by the earlier quarterly returns leading to perceived decline overall.

It suggests more harvest sales are taking place. If they build on that into the new year. It would be a better perceived outcome by year end.

Ellah lekuleku! cool

2036 is the year for Ellah lakes breakthrough.
This one needs prayers and deliverance. The administrative cost keep going up in 3 months with over 200% and 17 months over 100%.They claim to have commissioned the oil refinery and still revenue is not growing well.. kiloda. It is well with management
Shareholders should not complain they have helped them to manipulate the SP to favorable outcome.

Maka why? Who in their right mind values a Nigerian insurance carrier today on profits or investment income?

With the ongoing industry reforms, core insurance revenue is where the focus should be: The sector is prepping for rapid growth through premium expansion, even at a cost to profitability. Insurance revenue is up 22% YoY -- smaller by comparison to AIICO's 27% growth, though higher in absolute terms.

Insurance expenses -- essentially, claims payments -- did go up, but in a way that is a good thing in the short term, as it signals seriousness with claims resolution and helps Mansard build its brand image in the market.

Agbalowomeri:
This one should return to N5

Everyone seems to have forgotten about Ellahlakes Refinery.
Chuka told us it will be up and running around June last year. The same way some companies announce strategic alliance just to pump their share price. Hum...
Any I have since exited Ellahlakes with my small loot.
To those still onboard I wish you plenty oil.
