If you check your early days, you may discover you had several options of good ladies or good guys. For the guys, you may have had several good ladies flocking around you and probably wanting to settle down with you. These ladies may be kind, clingy, merciful, tolerant, available, forgiving etc. They may just be all you wanted, but you were probably so unserious to pray to God if you should pick one immediately, or too filled with lust that all you needed was sex. Today, you may be finding it so hard to even get a lady that is 50% in character of the ladies you didnt take seriously.
For the ladies, you may have seen good husband materials in your prime. These guys may be so handsome, educated, honest, kind, generous, neat, available etc, but you probably needed a bad guy who smokes, clubs etc. Now, you may be over 30 looking for husband and probably finding none.

Yeah, on the male side it’s mostly due to financial aspect of getting married at the time, not that they purposely loose guard these women.

People change. The opportunity you think you wasted might just be a blessing in disguise. Some people got married early and divorced later. Others got married later and never divorced
