only 2 units of Fortis Insurance has been sold today. Holders are not smiling at all...
It will become available from 1.00.

Will not reduce Zichis bid because it's too cheap, and ppl have money in this country.

They should support this return with at least one "manageable" Result.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 11:51am On Feb 04
In addition,
- share of profits from associates rose sharply by 523% to ₦197.0 billion (FY 2024: ₦31.6 billion). ND Western (41.67% direct interest and an additional 20.8% through RAEC) accounted for ₦138.5bn. Now ARADEL holds 81.7% and 53.33% in ND Western and RAEC respectively... grin
- other income for FY 2025 amounted to ₦219.1 billion (FY 2024: loss of ₦9.0 billion), primarily reflecting the gain on bargain purchase following the acquisition of an additional 40% equity interest in ND Western Limited.

Lol. How do you folks interprete financial results? You call this not good? Really?
The balance sheet has moved from a mid-cap profile to a mega-cap powerhouse.
Total Assets: Surged by 495% to ₦10.42 trillion (FY 2024: ₦1.75 trillion).
Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE): Jumped to ₦5.01 trillion from ₦676.6 billion, reflecting the acquisition of productive oil and gas assets.
Decommissioning Liabilities: Increased significantly to ₦1.46 trillion, a long-term obligation associated with the newly acquired fields.
Total Equity: More than doubled to ₦3.48 trillion, primarily due to the addition of non-controlling interests from the new subsidiaries.

Kindly confirm the page you got the bolded from

emmaodet:
Honestly, i am not really impressed with the result.
70% of the profit before tax comes from ''other income'' and ''share of profit from associate''
They have a worrying receivables of 2.56 trillion, borrowing ballooned to 1.7 trillion from just 40 billion previous year, decommissioning liabilities of 3.35t, payables increased from 120b to 2.9 trillion.
In the share holders equity, non-controlling interest is now above 50%.
Ever since they came to Ngx, i think they have learnt the act of playing with the books unlike them.

This is how you know some of us old timers in this market.
A Gamble wagered 7 years ago that ended in a death-like trap.

Thank God it did not pass from coma to death;
From suspension to delisting like many did.

All this my celebration is for just a tasere sub 1 million units, not a fraction unit of which is for sale under 5, no fex... grin grin

NAHCO and NASCON now move in waves that are related to each other. The recent correlation measure of both stocks using 2D Normal distribution speaks volumes #QuantitativeFinance

Custodian has been consistent in capital appreciation over the years.
If you are interested in dividends, I would suggest you compare the possible dividend yield (at current price and current (or prior year) dividend) with other yields or interest rates in the market. If you are okay, then you may go ahead and buy.

I am waiting for JAPAULGOD results. I will sell off if its not impressive. Tired of parking my funds there for over a year without any appreciation and zero dividends.
