There's really NOTHING new here. For centuries, women have NEVER loved soft men. They've always craved for a bit of drama in their lives, otherwise the relationship would be boring. That's the way they are naturally wired... They subliminally crave for some resistance and headwinds. Women are subconsciously solution providers as well seeking to improve on problems and situations in their lives and that of those around them. On second thought, I think she was trying to express the attraction for a man who is both soft (caring and calm when necessary) and tough and assertive when necessary. a man who will pamper and spoil her sometimes and completely ignore at other times.
