Does anyone have information on the reason why the UBA rights issue that was done in August has since not been concluded and shares issued?

I think it’s going to N800 over the next 12 months so yes
HesInMe:
I know. I'm just giving more context to your MTNN bullishness. The real question is, Would you still be as bullish if your average price were 535? Or 600+, where it currently trades?

UAE to invest tens of billions of dollars in Nigeria over the next few years including the mining sector.. Japaul should be seeking some of these mega dollars
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 5:23pm On Feb 08
IMO these billions might not benefit JAPAPUL because it is suffering from a dearth of political exposure.

IF Mr Jegede can get a high profile serving politician to invest, the SP will rise...

Good evening sir, please how did you arrived at this fair price for CWG?

Coolcash1:
CWG fair price is N70.

Don’t focus on short term headwinds just look at long term. The business model remains very solid, well positioned to benefit from government’s digital economy transformation and broadband growth.

Therefore, when the weak hands are shakened out refuse to sell your holding cheap and buy back at expensive price later or now trying to catch a moving train.

I have pulled out a significant chunk of my funds from the market.

What has the government done for me to deserve a whooping 30% of my sweat money when I am the local government of myself? Tax is a social contract!

When the draconian CGT law is revised, I will bring it back but for now I prefer to keep my portfolio very low.

Glad I made this decision.

Funds invested in gold and silver. Made huge returns I won’t have in years on NGSE.

Be a smart investor and not a dummy that confines himself only to a single market. Capital flows to where returns are guaranteed and risk rewarding. Practice portfolio rebalancing and asset diversification.

FYI: it’s still not late to join the precious metals bullish run as it’s about gathering momentum for another leg up…Silver expected to hit $500/ounce whilst it’s big brother projected to end the year at $8000/ounce.

Enough said!

Ordinary NCR and Eunisell on the NGX did better than Gold, silver, Uas Dollar, Bitcoin, Etherium, Solana Tesla, Meta, Nvidia and Apple the last one year and gave a huge return better than what the gold gave.

How about that?

From the Notes to the Financial statement, components of Trade payables that significantly increased are "Due to Customer" and "Due to Banks", both of which accounted for over ₦423 billion for 2025, and had zero entries for the previous year 2024. Which means that they are as a result of Custodian's share of acquisition of FBNQuest Merchant bank which was concluded in November 2025 (refer to the NGX publication on November 28). Banks usually have those entries in their balance sheet liabilities- "Deposits from Banks" and "Deposits from Customers".

There were some other entries under Financial Assets for 2025 that were not recorded for 2024- "Quoted equity securities" and "Loan to Customers", which again obviously are Custodian's share of acquisition of FBNQuest Merchant bank.

Bro. over the last 2 years, almost every stock has been a winner. With so much money flowing into the market, you could pick almost any stock and make 200–300% returns , making all of us feel like market gurus grin

we are waiting for the 2025 year-end audited results to get a clearer picture of what next. But based on Q3 performance, these 3 stocks look very promising on the bedsheed and could do wonders going forward

Aradel , Transcorp and Dangote sugar.

u might ask why the DS but let wait and see how things be going forward. before then, take a look at the enterprise value "valuation of the whole bussiness" instead of the usual metrics you’re familiar with. dt could give you a better idea of what am seeing..
