Replace bolded with "government"
Businesses create value, build wealth, abhor wastages, solve problems and provide solutions, individuals, organizations, government etc should think like businesses in order to ensure prosperity

I said it is not an academic exercise if the aim is to build a long term sustainable wealth and value through business or investment
Of course, Pa Emma is right. With age, you will see the wisdom in these words. To ignore this is to gamble. Because some embrace such, the word gambler has been reserved for them. Sometimes you win big and if you lose, you lose big too. No fund manager would dare gamble. The maths must add up or else it's a no-deal. Always better safe than sorry.

Priority of government is welfare and security of citizens please! Do you know that western and Arab countries give subsidy on certain items/services? Welfare first

The ''mighty' USofA is heavily indebted (about $38tn)...
I laugh in tongues. So you are comparing yourselves with USA abi?

KarlTom:

Yeah, I agree.
But USA is a unique case, not a very good example of sovereign debts. They have the singular privilege of the debt being denominated in their national currency. So they do not necessarily have to produce and export before they can repay. They can virtually decide to print the dollars and use it to pay their debts. (theoretically speaking, quantitative easing).
So no country should ''farawe'' or do follow follow with US on foreign debts

Seems you don't understand that the level of your foreign reserves correlates well with the standard of living that you are advocating for. Why do you think the economy is stabilising
I'm talking welfare of citizens you are talking statistics.. anyway make we move on to other matters. No agreement in sight grin

Really, @ numbers are merely academic exercise?

Numbers are not merely academic exercise in business and investment if you want to build a long term sustainable value and wealth through business or investment
You misconstrued my message, I'm a number person , I will be the last person to call number a mere academic exercise

My point is , some things transcends the present numbers you are seeing and I listed some of those things. I made an example of Ellahlakes , and I said if we're to be judging by present day numbers, Ellah will be in negative

To rest this matter, I know things most people don't know about Sugar and if you believe solely on present day numbers, you will only miss an opportunity

Today's Sugar full bid means something. I will say less

This is not a buy recommendation for anyone.

I rest my case

If they don't have market maker, then how is the price fluctuation been managed?
There's no stock without Market Maker.....
NGXGROUP cannot contradict its own rule.

Meanwhile, ARADEL touched N1000.....
Currently @990
No official movement up yet...

Giving Oandites more hope.....😁

Do you know the number of people that businesses create employment and business opportunities to? Eg employees, contractors, suppliers and other service providers.

Do you know that they also have a budget for Corporate and Social Responsibilities.

It is when a country is well managed that they can have the surplus to provide subsidies to the less privileged

I am talking about sustainability not a one off thing that will go back to status quo within few years, in the next 10 years do you think a company whose stock price appreciation is not backed by numbers will continue to sustain their elevated share price?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by HesInMe: 11:02am On Feb 10
What are normal people still buying in this market? With everything seriously bid up so fast, I've run out of ideas.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 11:05am On Feb 10
Do you realize that [economically speaking] most of what DJT is clamouring for is reduction in debt?

@the bolded, I grin grin grin
Anyway, I am not an economist, so I humbly rest my case... smiley

Maybe you should read my original message again, I never disagreed with Osita's message, I even commended it. I only stated that numbers alone don't drive SP on NGX

The core of my point is , the present day metrics is not the only factor that drives SP on NGX . The sugar in question is presently on FULL BID . If we were to go by the metrics, it ought to be on full offer like TOTAL or GEREGU

Sustainability is another thing entirely. I re-affirm the present day metrics alone do not drive SP on NGX. My 12 months projection for Sugar still holds - N120 and NASCON - 200.

We collect the bag first and worry about sustainability later.

Again, it is not a buy recommendation.

True that.

The key is to identify the rally before it starts or join at the beginning.

Once the rally has gone far, please wait for a pullback or correction. Otherwise, you’ll be FOMOing.

Cheers!

DJT wants US to be dominant and inward looking in all spheres. And he doesnt want US resources to be used to aid and develop other countries to achieve greatness. The debt is secondary.

Anyway, you have your points

According to Lynch, more money have been lost waiting for market correction than the bear market or correction itself...

Meanwhile see NGXGROUP i was projecting 200 in years to come say 5 years.. where e de run go like this.

mikeapollo:
Agba!!!
Positivity galore for the economy!
But when it gets to NGX, you tighten your face. Hope you are also positive that NGX go blow this year and Access and other stocks go hit 100%
