The real problem is that he could be a newbie, and he could actually make 300% this year.

And that's where the problem kicks in. He would think that's how the capital market works. So he'd bring the entire N30m, sell his car and some real assets to invest all in the NGX; and then have a budget of what he'd do with the N500m profit he would make from the venture grin

You see, atimes, I wonder whether people wishing the country bad fail to recognize the fact that as long as you are a Nigerian, the impact will touch you whether you are home or in the diaspora.
The honorary mention is a "P" on this thread.

I just hope FG fulfils most of the foreign debt obligations as they did last yr that has contributed to bringing the Fx to good light; cuz the debts........

🔥 ROYAL EXCHANGE – OFFERS DRYING, ACCUMULATION ONGOING 🔥
Royal Exchange Plc is seeing strong daily absorption as sell offers continue to thin out. Smart money appears to be positioning ahead of recapitalization.
What to Expect Next:
1️⃣ Stronger Momentum – Increased buying pressure as recap deadline approaches.
2️⃣ Balance Sheet Repricing – Market begins to price in its ₦7bn+ shareholders’ funds strength.
3️⃣ Corporate Action Catalyst – Possible rights issue, private placement, or strategic investor move.
4️⃣ Insurance Sector Rotation – Broader movement into undervalued insurance stocks like AIICO Insurance Plc, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc, Consolidated Hallmark Holdings Plc, and Linkage Assurance Plc.
📈 When offers fully dry up, price acceleration typically follows due to low supply and rising demand.
Positioning phase is ongoing. Markup phase may come with recap headlines.
Watch closely.

Other non-oil components of the GDP (agriculture, financial services, and trade, etc.) have been steadily increasing more than the crude oil and gas components. S, it’s no longer strictly about oil price.
It is about which GDP component generates the required forex revenue, from which the govt gets its dollars allocations to the BDC.
Oil revenue is still the largest and dominant contributor to Nigeria's forex revenue, and it is affected by volume and price

The CBN is not allocating forex to BDC.
They are only allowed to access forex from the NFEM.

It won't be as aggressive.
Full Bid may not last more than a week, cos the bankers will already price the listing price about fairly.

Why are you so defensive on any thing about govt:?
The CBN routinely allocates or decides the threshold of forex to be made available to BDCs in the NFEM, as a way of managing the rate:
The CBN regulates the NFEM (Nigeria Foreign Exchange Market) by determining the allocation threshold to BDCs

On Monday I was shocked to have done almost 800 deals in one day,

Today, I am shocked that I made the largest single day profits since I started trading on the NGX.

Atlass is delaying trade uploads for me to confirm the actual figures, but I'm already shocked and grateful.

We still make money in bear markets, but in bull markets, you just get shocking results 😁😎

Quoting from the link you posted,

“To ensure the availability of adequate foreign exchange liquidity in the retail segment of the foreign exchange market to meet the legitimate needs of end users, this is to inform market participants that all BDCs that are duly licensed by the CBN are allowed to access foreign exchange from the NFEM through any Authorised Dealer of their choice, at the prevailing exchange rate.”

There is clearly a difference between CBN allocating forex to BDC and BDC accessing forex from NFEM at the prevailing exchange rate.

I am not out to defend government,I just believe people on this forum should know better than the average Nigerian and that should form the basis of our criticism or support for the government.

You said the CBN does not allocate forex to BDCs.
But the article reads inter-alia,
''The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has approved the participation of licensed Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), allowing each operator to purchase up to $150,000 weekly.

That is imposing an allocation limit of $150,000 weekly per BDC player, if successful. The CBN can equally increase or reduce this threshold. That is a way of ''allocating'' or ''assigning'' the maximum amount a BDC can buy, for the purpose of managing forex availability and its potential effect on rate in the parallel market.

Abi, did I offend English language? grin grin

My highest single day NGX earnings so far:

- N2.66m
- comes to about $2000 for 5 hours of work
-comes to around $1m annualized pre tax earnings.
- over 3 years of minimum wage in a single day
- gotten with a portfolio below N50m
- about 56% are already realized

- more than my monthly earnings in October and November last year when market was slow

- more than my earnings for the whole of Q1 2025

Everyone will stick to their opinions na.

If about this time last year, I was trading a N2m portfolio and borrowing N1m from funny lenders at 156% APR, and now I'm made N2.6m in a single day, with the portfolio having grown over 2000% to now almost N50m, do I really need any one to convince me that I've been blessed with a working strategyhuh
