Patience and long term focus is very key in this stocks market game.
I bought some 3million units of that RT Briscoe at about 0.60k and sold off around 0.80k. Now it is almost N15! Unbelievable!
Don’t get mad at yourself at least you didn’t lose money.

Have you seen the profit margin of a refinery business before ?
ogawisdom:
How are you positioning for Dangote refinery IPO?

It will be massive, keep some cash or better still offload some stocks now that they are at all time high n keep the cash for it.

Warning - This is an opinion not a financial advice

INSURANCE SECTOR ALERT – ROTATION CONFIRMED
Market attention is clearly shifting toward insurance.
Volume is rising. Offers are thinning. Bids are getting aggressive.
This is no coincidence.
🔥 Why Insurance Is Heating Up
1️⃣ Offers Drying Up
Sellers are reducing at current levels. When supply shrinks and demand builds, price expansion follows.
2️⃣ Recapitalization Catalyst
The industry recapitalization is separating strong players from weak ones. Only insurers with solid shareholders’ funds and strategic positioning will dominate.
3️⃣ Cheap Valuations
Most insurance stocks are still trading at deep value levels compared to:
Asset base
Premium growth
Earnings potential
Balance sheet strength
Re-rating potential remains high.
🏆 Insurance Stocks Standing Fit
Royalex Insurance – Strengthened balance sheet, recap-ready narrative, undervalued pricing.
AIICO Insurance – Tier-1 name, strong premium base, market confidence building.
AXA Mansard – Backed by global brand, consistent performance.
NEM Insurance – Historically strong underwriting and dividend culture.
Cornerstone Insurance – Capital strength and investor attention.
Mutual Benefits Assurance – High activity, speculative momentum play.
Lasaco Assurance – Small cap with strong volatility appeal.
Linkage Assurance – Cheap valuation, sector sympathy moves.
Coronation Insurance (WAPIC) – Recapitalization and restructuring angle.
Universal Insurance – Momentum-driven interest.
🎯 Big Picture
Insurance is moving from ignored to accumulated.
✔ Sector rotation underway
✔ Recapitalization reshaping hierarchy
✔ Strong names attracting capital
✔ Limited free float tightening supply
This isn’t random speculation — it’s structural positioning ahead of a sector reset.
Insurance may remain tight for a long time.

This is mostly because of the price. If the price doubles it would be like selling bottle water instead of sachet water.

Don’t let the village people accompany (‘follow’) you back to the NSE after your visit. grin Corporate anointing may not be able to cover the bear that they’ll bring for you. grin grin

Certainly, but i want to grow my portfolio first through Q2, Trading a N100m portfolio is easier.

Plus I will be financing the car, and the payment schedule is about N1.8m monthly for 36 months, with N17m downpayment.

I need that N1.8m monthly payment to be something i can consistently make from 2 days of trading.

Finally, my trip to the village where I want to go show it off isn't happening till September.

It's like you asking a 500k lux light to worry about darkness grin grin you see it's a misplaced worry. for 500k lux, it's instant death to any such darkness (village people in this context), not everyone is vulnerable to village people, some of us only make them shiver and we decide whether or not they should live. It's a privilege, but I have it.

Do I even believe they exist? grin That was on a lighter note, don’t take everything too seriously!
