1067 trades.

It just didn't seem normal, first I thought abi they sent alerts from another day alongside today's?

But I later found that it seems there's a bug in the notification service that's sending the alerts multiple times.

Like today I only sold MECURE once, but they gave me four notifications for it.

So, from around 700 in 2014, it went down to as low as sub 200 in 2016? Was 2014 the year it listed?
Those queueing up for Dangote IPO must watch this interesting history.
IPO means ( It is Probably Overpriced)

Lol.. You dunno warris goin on.. grin

Most reported off market trades are always same buyer and seller..
#Dont play. grin
But off-market doesn't move the price, or does it? I think the ones which move the market are shown on the market trades lists and might indeed be entities selling to themselves to move the price to desired destination.

My position then was political/economy. And it has never changed. This government still remains a failed one.If the ngx like Let it return 1000% it does not change my position about this government

I'm just saying profits are sweeter.

Plus with the profits you make on the NGX, you can touch 10, 100 or 1000 lives in areas where the government has failed them. Especially with your large portfolio size.

No.
My brokers' systems are already programmed to charge N4.3 per trade, whether the alerts come 0, 1 or 4 times per trade.

The issue seems to be unique to today's trades alone though.

No I have better plan.To contribute it to make sure the failed government does not go beyond 2027.That way larger number of Nigerians will benefit more.So I will be joining political party for the first time

I hope you succeed.
Whatever will be in the best interest of the people is my own desire.

I'd rather people can conveniently pay their own rents instead of me being there to support, although I would if I have to.

You are not entirely wrong, but Dangote Petroleum is likely a unicorn (good or bad) - unique. It will probably be overpriced, even if not, hard to get a baseline idea of the worth...but there will be FOMO, monopoly, FDI from $ denomination etc. It will be such a wild ride for the several months till financial statements come out and everyone finds their level.

After lots of stubborn head (stickiness) USDT has now finally crashed to 1390 on Quidax.

It was dragging feet at 1440 before 😁

I bought 885k worth of Bitcoin just 2 weeks ago when it was around N113m (I thought I saw a bargain 😁😁)

I haven't even bothered to check how much red it's in now.

The crash is super sweet for my overall portfolio.

$150k in weekly BDC saleshuh
I knew it was only a matter of time before those sticky markets gave up 😁

Based on the context of your question,
I only pointed an instance where they sell to themselves.
as your question seem to doubt it.

If they can sell to themselves without moving price in off-market agreements, what stops them from doing it in market trades?

better be careful in that space, even the US stocks too.

if the US stocks or cryptos appreciate by 20% and the Naira strengthens against the USD by 20%, you have no capital gain here. Only a strong dollar can help you here.

I already said last year that I wasn't doing cryptos anymore cos the gains aren't worth the stress of calculating taxes, and the time it takes to make the gains.

This was just me seeing what I thoght was a bargain I had idle cash, it was supposed to be a quick in and out.

But i'm super happy it crashed.
Cos the gains in my earnings in dollar terms so far this year is already much higher than whatever I lost in that position.
