emmanuelewumi:I think Morgan Capital has all past price lists accessible from their trade platform. But yea, CSCS account is a must have. The one I bought in bulk 5 years ago, will soon expire. It was quite cheaper. Now they also said they don't do multi year subscription again. |

Itzlinda:let us start with a capital of N1,000,000 to purchase an Apple share (i have not considered commissions from the analysis below) convert N1,000,000 to usd at N1,400 per usd. This will give us $714.287 buy Apple share at $260 per share. this will give you $714.287/$260 (divide capital by share price). This will give you 2.747 units assuming Apple share appreciates by 20% from $260 per share to $312. the capital appreciation when liquidated will be 2.747 units X $312. This will be a total of $857.06. This means you have gained in capital appreciation. Assuming at this point the Naira has strengthened by 20%, it means 1USD = N1,120 (N1,400 minus 20%) now covert your total capital of your Apple share back to naira. $857.06 X N1,120 = N959,907 to make profit trading the US stocks or cryptos, the capital gain has to outpace the strengthening of the Naira remarkably. |

As of mid-February 2026, Japaul Gold & Ventures Plc is undergoing a major corporate transformation. The appointment of Abubakar Lawal the Group MD of GTI Group and a veteran of high level corporate restructuring as a Non Executive Director on February 10th, followed by the appointment of Mr. Henry Alakhume as Acting Group Managing Director on February 12th. These moves signal a shift from exploration to execution, as the company looks to leverage Lawal’s expertise to fund its transition into a full-scale gold producer. A critical pillar of this growth strategy is a massive 8 billion share private placement priced at ₦2.50, and is currently attracting significant institutional interest. This capital raise is designed to finance the unearthing of the company’s inferred gold reserves, which are currently estimated at over 600,000 ounces, valued at over $3 billion at current peak global prices. By securing big money investors through this placement, Japaul aims to resolve its historical working capital pressures and finally begin commercial production at its primary site in Osun State, a move that could fundamentally revalue the company. While the price saw a temporary dip to ₦2.29 following the management transition, the high volume at this level suggests strong accumulation by major players who see the ₦2.50 placement price as a long term floor. Investors are currently watching for a definitive break and hold above the ₦2.50 resistance level, which would confirm that the market has fully priced in the new capital and is ready to rally toward the 52-week high of ₦3.66. The broader macro environment is further fueling this gold rush sentiment, as global gold prices continue their historic ascent toward $6,000 per ounce. Japaul's diversification away from its struggling maritime and dredging roots into solid minerals has finally begun to reflect in its bottom line. With the new leadership now tasked with commissioning a gold refinery and securing a public-private partnership with the Osun State government to protect its mining corridors, the coming months are seen as the final incubation period before Japaul attempts to become a big player in commercial gold exporting. unite4real:You got it wrong about when @Prophetutuocha started his ''prophecy'' on Oando. You might have joined the ''congregation'' or ''service'' mid-way To be fair, he started his ''prophecies'' about Oando when it was selling around N5-N8, and he ''prophesied'' several times that Oando would hit N50 and above before the end of 2023. It was difficult for people to believe, except for those who knew something more about Oando e.g. Bagwa etc. He also made it clear that Oando would not delist, at a time when most of us were scared because of the court case. Several months later, we all saw Oando climbing up to as far as N90, before receding to where it is today. And they have not delisted either. Note: I would not advise anyone to buy Oando for now if you don't have enough buffers (mentally, financially) to absorb shocks and the patience for the longer term. DYOR. |

MeezPat:I think there's system glitch generally with CSCS. Some errors noticed by me too day before yesterday and the broker's attention was called to it...... They said it was from CSCS and has been rectified. Seems they're still working on it......but there's the need to let your broker be aware if it persists so they can escalate it and resolve it on time. * I think CSCS is carrying out some upgrades* |
