They get confused when they don't experience fights, cheated on etc and affectionate make up/reconciliation(probably, the magic dopine that toys their soul)
It becomes so unreal to them and they exit to seek familiar attachments

This sounds like something people say in their early 20s. With time, peace, respect, and emotional stability start to look more attractive than drama.
