Goodness081:Spareroom.com Leasebreak They do short term rentals. Note as long as your rental is about 1 hr commute from you internship location you'll be fine. Lower manhattan can be pricey but not impossible Or utilise your student services at your school, especially if they have social media. Just post, there might be others interning in NYC who are searching |

Please I need suggestions on how to get cheap flight from USA to Nigeria.Hope one can travel with green card without issue? |
| Re: Living In The USA - Life Of An Immigrant Part 1 by internationalman(m): 2:38am On Feb 21 |
Jannyfranc:Check booking.com. Just choose your destination and search for the cheapest available prices. The only downside is that it could take 2 days for you to get to your destination. As for your other question, I work at the airport and I see people traveling with green card everyday. |
| Re: Living In The USA - Life Of An Immigrant Part 1 by Taal17: 4:43am On Feb 23 |
Jannyfranc:No issues traveling with green card, I traveled 3ce last yr. The only caution I would say is for those with 2yr conditional green if your marriage is shaky Tickets are pricey and have increased in the last 1yr. Like internationman said, the cheaper tickets travel time including layovers might be up to 2daya. |

Good afternoon my people. Is anyone aware if COS is still possible from let’s say H-1b to F-1 within the US? |
| Re: Living In The USA - Life Of An Immigrant Part 1 by GboyegaD(m): 3:25am On Mar 26 |
H1-B to F-1, I'm not sure but I know you can switch from F-1 to H-1B |
| Re: Living In The USA - Life Of An Immigrant Part 1 by Nozino: 4:13am On Mar 26 |
GboyegaD:You can switch from H1B to F1 but with the visa ban, we are living in a world of uncertainty. |
