Everyone is now claiming they sold ellahlakes before now to buy other stocks.. Me I still stand with ELLAHLAKES not selling a single unit, just the way we did with FBNH @#3+ see FBNH today. |

The fact is that ELLAHLAKES has a future... CHUKA is not like Wale. He has some level of dim honesty just that he is trying different options to probably help ELLAH.I still have units in ELLAH.. In all my investments I don't play with MY CAPITAL... I have said it here times without number... Cash is King 👑 I have never pursued after any stock. I get into all stocks at their bashed moments. And secure my CAPITAL and good gains in the height of the ovations... Which is reason I don't have a unit of WEMA and ARADEL and I don't have regrets about that If you bring emotions to ngx you go cry tire |

My worry is that all the ELLAH loot will be aggressively deployed to JAPAUL. Our chances of getting our bids filled has probably dropped by half... ![]() megawealth01: |

emmanuelewumi:It's a bit patronizing to say their revenue is less than N1 Billion. It is better put as revenue is less than N150 Million. |

I have been laughing so loud about kpakus as I named it.I cannot believe my eyes from all the deceivers here new position/post on the same kpakus they all ganged up to crucify me in the past. You all should all hide your faces in shame.I don't know how to pretend . I won't be surprised this week for kpakus to only be seeing offer no bid when the news spread enough and people will be trapped |

PETERiCHY:I believe you are the one safe keeping this gold of this value in your house for them. And still they want to raise fund after you are keeping 1.8 billion dollars of gold for them You don too old for this kind format |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 11:51am On Feb 21 |
There are several options before ELLAH mgt right now: - reach out to some HNI investors who subscribed to the PO for private placement - borrow internally to fund the acquisition. Then convert the debt to equity later on at a discount. - issue CP or BONDS to fund the acquisition. - come back to the market with a RI (after all the EGM has given approval for the fund raising). Frankly speaking, the only thing that can save the SP from total decline are successful acquisition + verifiable commencement of milling operations... Every mallam to his kettle |

KarlTom:HNI are very smart people, except for politicians who are mostly money miss road. What is the size of the business done for Ellah Lakes to ask for a bond of N200 billion for the acquisition? What is the credit rating of Ellah Lakes? The best thing is for Ellah Lakes to grow organically for the next 3 years, generate reasonable revenue, become profitable, improve their credit rating, convert the current debts to equity, then try to pay a dividend After this they can try a N50 billion right offer. The problem with Ellah Lakes is that majority of the current shareholders were waiting for the next maga. I doubt if 20% of the shareholders actually participated in the public offer. |

E Ku motivational abi na lecture Saturday o. ![]() Saturday wey una suppose go relax and cool body small. 😁 We're still in this market.... It's fund raising that got stalled... Never say never.....until it's completely over 😁 More than this was said about JAPAUL during Miloist days, today, the same JAPAUL is the one they're diligently seeking after. If ELLAH is serious, they dust themselves up and go back to the drawing board. Just passing by 🚶🚶🤸⛹️🤾 |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by chimex38: 12:32pm On Feb 21 |
KarlTom:They should have chosen to become minority holders of APRN @ 30%-40% of APRN shares.. With less than 100bn issue. Enough to get into the management board and make decisions. It would have been oversubscribed. Few yrs later, they can increase ownership stake to Major holders or outright owners based on performance. Market might even price in the futuristic complete acquisition even more than the PO price but at less than 100bn capital. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 12:40pm On Feb 21 |
chimex38:True. It could have even been partnership first instead of outright acquisition. All that is needed is to go back to the drawing board, see the reasons why the fund raising failed and then start again. After all, there's no harm in trying and failure itself is a learning process, it's not the opposite of success but a part of it. If Chuka is a true entrepreneur, he won't see this as failure but correction process.... If an adult stumbles and fall, he looks back to see why and what falls him. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 12:47pm On Feb 21 |
Actually, INFERRED gold is VERY different from PROVEN reserves. Infact that word RESERVES shows that the gold actually exists AND is measurable. Inferred reserves are the least certain categorization of mineral resources. If I recall correctly, we have Inferred >> Indicated >> Measured >> Probable >> Proven. Proven is the highest level. That is the reason E&Ps like OandO can use their PROVEN resources as collateral for loans. “Inferred” resource means there is geological evidence and limited sampling that suggests mineralization. It can be converted into a more certain category through extensive drilling and evaluation. So far JAPAUL has not released any disclosure on its PROVEN reserves. If this inferred 20tons is upgraded to PROVEN, JAPAUL literally [and fundamentally] rerates and turns to a double-digit stock (add the refinery and we are in eldorado)... megawealth01:Mega, I can see and read your motivational speeches nah....😁 I no come know whether the adjective used is wrong sha. Lol. You know, in this market, I've learn not to say never on whatever issues that comes up.... That's the perspective I used mostly to view many issues. Chuka has big biz going for him but he just needed to now listen, address the concerns and get industry advice from seasoned professionals... My opinion. |
