There will be Dangote Fertilizer IPO too. In total, it’s possible the funds needed to mop everything up go reach $3b or N4t.

Na so e go easy to oversub? That’s a lot of liquidity…and it is not the holy grail of companies.

unite4real:
The challenge with this is that there will be very high oversubscriptions and it will end up in prorating.
I remember the dangote flour mills public offer about 19 years ago, if my memory serves right, I had about 90% of my fund returned after holding the fund for quite a while. I feel the refinery IPO will be far worse due to the current hype and anticipation

Are you aware that the last Nigeria Treasury bills saw a bid of over N4 Trillion for the 364 day tenor alone?

There is a lot of excess fund in the system. I can assure you that dangote refinery IPO might hit massive oversubscription. When I am applying for it, I can only hope to be allotted the minimum required. Any other na jara. I will also expect that my excess fund will be returned.

Based on that info, wapco is the cheapest in the cement business but to buy at current price based on my entry price of 36 looks irrational. Although I believed it's a 500 stock.

Yes, I saw that news. It actually made me pause before I wrote my comment…but TBilla is different from stocks…else all that N4T should have entered Presco last week 🤣

Aliko has forgotten about our Dangfoods. It ought to be listed before the refinery.

The current total money supply in Nigeria is over N120 Trillion. We are also entering into elections campaign year. Expect more money in circulation

Aliko will list another 10% by intro as I heard, and keep the rest.

Scarcity will launch the stock price to the moon, and carry Aliko up like an escalator into the top 10 of Forbes and/or Bloomberg wealth list.

That is the game, and nobody's heart should be failing.
It will still always be available like other stocks, at a price.
If it is 100 units you can aford, then that one will be sitting on the shelf of your pfolio like a trophy, comforting your soul.

DD will not be necessary.

Subscribers are only guaranteed the minimum units that will be advertised.
Oversubscription for N3 Trillion keh

I think there will be a clause in the offer document that in the case in the case of oversubscription, the quantity to sell to the public can be increased from 10%

Dangote Refinery shares will end up like Airtel shares when listed after sometime. Thr will be hardly 100k units to move it up.

For Transcorp, I would want to see an uptick in the volumes along with the price. PE is 8.65 so an EPS of N6.00 has been priced in. Note….Tomorrow is BM. You may wish to wait. Not unless privileged to insider information. Resistance @53.50 and Support @ 47.15. Insiders haven't shown interest for a while too.

Buacement is trading at over 22 p.e with lesser cash flow efficiency despite bigger in asset.

If wapco did 17 eps in 2025, DCF what do you think 2026 eps will be, it will become clearer once q1 are out. grin grin

Emotions still not permitting me to buy at current price based on my initial entry price I believed I have better use for the cash I'm sitting on. I'm just expecting sugar fy numbers first.

I wanted to ask him, how many units of transcorp do you have since you believed ngx investors reward dividend paying companies n you believed otherwise.

You work for the growth the majority owner will later corner, case study tony removing power from transcorp group did it benefits the shareholders of transcorp.

This place na naija, no be oyinbo land oooo where there is working rules.

It would most likely be oversubscribed but some people who buy TBs do so for some reasons (fixed, predictable income for planning) which may be different for shares.
People are investing aggressively in order to beat inflation and regain some value that has been lost to the depreciation of the naira.

Yes it did. Book value (money to deploy to other subsidiaries) went up for selling a portion of power. Enjoys and distributes power dividends.

Before the sales, how much does transcorp pay as dividend n how much do they pay after sales.

Ok, since dividend is not the goal, how has it impacted transcorp share price after sales. May be tomorrow ooo but today nothing show just like groundnuts locked up inside bottles, chicken can never taste it.

I will like to know how the minority shareholder have benefitted from that decision.
