Exactly, especially for companies with no track record in the NGX.
I hope Dangote refinery would not be listing by introduction as well.
PO is the best option for a level playing field for all investors
They can even have an Offer for Sale, whereby existing shareholders will sell part of their holdings to the public at a fixed price unlike listing by introduction whereby the price the existing shareholders will sell will be increasing on a daily basis. That gives room for manipulation

ZICHIS suspended
Guess it has to do with the hoarding.....
At least if they don't want to sell to public why listing?
They've overdone the hoarding haba!
Nne please share your source.

emmanuelewumi:
It is a scam.

If you want to come to the market come through an Initial Public Offer or an Offer for Sale
I'm sure they have reasons for allowing introduction. I think it's cheaper

I have never seen company as greedy as that zichis in mu whole year on ngx. I hope they never make it back to the floor so they go back to their 400 milli9n market cap
I wrote about their price to sale ratio last week and it appears to be the second highest on NGX after that of Ellah Lakes.

Just make sure you have mobey in your bank account. It will be deducted from your bank balance once approved. I had issue with them because they keep resending my mandate and gtb keeps deducting my money. Something that should not cost me more than 2500 for 1p mandates ended up costing me 9509
No wonder it wasn’t allowing me to log-in using GiBiTiBank.

sterlingD:
That is all you don't need to do anything else .You have given them your account details there so when dividend payment is around the corner they will debit your account for the said fees
Thanks boss

I didn’t find Computer Warehouse Group (CWG) on the e-dividend list. Looks it they are the only one I’d need to fill paper forms for

Then the price should be fixed , NGX should know the quantity they want to sell to the public.

The stock should be sold to investors on a first come, first serve basis and no investor can buy more than a certain quantity during the period of the listing by introduction.

I definitely know that SEC and NGX will come with stricter rules

Going back to where it belongs.
I hope NGX will now put an end to listing by introduction
Boss, I don't think there's anything wrong with listing by introduction .
We've seen quite some stocks listed by introduction that were trading normally...
See LEGENDINT, TRANSPOWER, HMCALL, MECURE, etc......they were all listed by introduction....

I think the issue with ZICHIS is not releasing even if it's 5% or 10% to the public when listed....
They could have been doing the release gradually while still aiming to achieve the recapitalisation for the company.

To think of it, ZICHIS is in a good sector and promising; the small OS is equally in in its advantage.
If most of the people here had been able to participate in the rally, we would have been hearing different stories of how SEC was insensitive and all that..... tongue

ELLAHLAKES
Those holding this stock, don't allow all these doom says to make you sell at loss or huge loss o.
If you can exit with minimal loss or can just hold it till all these panic dies down.
How many volumes in offer yet?

It is a scam.

If you want to come to the market come through an Initial Public Offer or an Offer for Sale
They only need to tighten the rules around listing by introduction.

That's how regulatory oversight evolve.

Listing by introduction should be stopped on ngx. It leaves the market vunerable to manipulation and investors paying the price. There must be strict free float, liquidity and disclosure enforcement.

Price appreciation driven by scarcity Na 419

I am hearing that Zichis is on suspension for manipulation

Exactly!
I think I even prefer listing by introduction self.
Sometimes, IPO price used to be inflated, then they list and the price starts nosediving...

It's 2 ways anyway.

The fact remains that most of the stocks are being manipulated around this time...... including the Big Cap stocks!
Many buying into the unseen future....

How much can they pay as dividends?
We wait and see when they starts declaring it.

The bolded are exactly what is wrong with listing by introduction.
Why should they be doing the release ''gradually''? Any scheme that allows the issuer to manage or determine the number of shares available for trade is prone to manipulation and a scam
