You can argue all you want.

I said it was no longer going to do above #5, you were expecting #1000, now it's on offer at #3.80, you're explaining.
I do not try to impress anyone, I am not a Japaul advocate neither do I have any share in the stock. I have never made any price prediction on Japaul either. I just pointed my observation, the stock opened on full bid and fell due to news of zichi suspension coupled with the SEC warning and Ellah's issues with fund raising. It didn't fall due to Ur prediction. The day you mentioned 80million units sold, the stock still went on full bid the next day. No one here can predict the market accurately at all times. It's only human to admit when you miss a prediction. Stocks don't move in straight lines. It could still go beyond the N5 you mentioned, reason some person's here have been buying the day's low. We are here to make money not to appear correct

Na human beings be that 😁

JAPAUL that may likely close on full bid self
Some of the volume buyers are not even on queue...

Over 320M units in transaction volume as at now...
- Around 370m units with over N1.5bn spent.....as at 1.45pm...
Currently trading above N4....@4.10....4.22

*JAPAUL's case is now left to Mr. Market to decide*

unite4real:
what i am trying to explain is simple.

if you have say 1 million units of Dangote Refinery and you find it on full bid, will you release 100k units? doing so and finding the stock doing multiple full bids going forward makes the 100k unit earlier released looks like a loss
this is the simpler reality, when you release that 100k units, your entire position is up 10%, why would that feel like a loss compared to 0% if you don't?

Let NGX relax their rule to allow bids on AIRTEL reach 6800 (its price in LOndon), then see if NGX holders would hesitate to sell 100k units.

Why the rush on Japaul though? Just because someone said they can bring gold out of the ground doesn't mean it will be an extremely profitable venture.

What Is Distribution?
Distribution is the phase where smart money (institutions/whales) quietly sell their shares to the public after a long rally.
Price often stays flat or slightly bullish
News is still positive
Retail traders are buying aggressively
Big players are exiting without crashing price immediately
Think of it as:
“Selling slowly so the market doesn’t notice.”
Why Most People Don’t Notice Distribution
Because distribution is designed to look bullish.
“Full bid” continues
Social media hype increases
Late buyers feel confident
Indicators still look okay
But inside the market, something else is happening.
How Distribution Works (Step by Step)
1️⃣ Long Rally Comes First
Distribution never starts from nowhere.
Stock has moved from ₦1 → ₦4 → ₦6
Everyone now believes “₦10 is coming”
Early buyers are in huge profit
📌 No rally = no distribution

Next accumulation is coming below 3.50

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 1:16pm On Feb 23
What happened in Japaul is not really strange.
After a whole week of full bullish runs of 10% gain per day, the following Monday is usually prone to some corrections, before the stock establishes a new trend or stablises.

And who would subscribe at that time? Most investors would wait until after the acquisition before the buy their shares
Well, like I said, the offer failed, yet he was still bullish.
He even gave a timeline.

Let's see how smart or non-smart he is when we reach the timeline.

I don't see the essence of your epistle, I said I no longer saw the stock going above #5, do you really need advanced degrees in mathematics to see that that's what's exactly playing out now?

even if it went of full bid for 10 more years after my statement? how hard is it for you to reaalize that my statement would still be valid as long as it didn't go above #5huh

I don't understand how you read posts.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by HesInMe: 1:22pm On Feb 23
I like your faith, but I prefer the numbers:

Even if they scaled down their ambitions and bought only the ARPN oil palm plantation, they'll need N155bn. They currently have about N2bn cash (less cash burn from operations) and N30bn assets.

How do you imagine they'll raise N150bn in 5 weeks?

chimex38:
Despite the offer failure, Mr. Chuka still sounded more confident that they will close the APRN deal.
It looks like they will.
It's their lifeline for a quicker rebound.

The 320M units should worry the bulls, maybe they have better convictions or a longer timeframe though. I speak as a short termer.

Unless some entit(ies) come to its rescue, the fear will marinate with time, and the offer size will grow similar to how volume of displaced fluid increases as sinking worsens.

Once confidence is lost, it will be difficult to get it bullish again unless there is more positive catalyst

⚠️ Quick Caution on Japaul Gold
Japaul has had a short sharp rally. Now price is slowing while volume remains high — that’s often how distribution starts.
Whales sell into strength while retail chases higher prices.
If distribution completes, price could revisit ₦3.20–₦3.50 before the next real move.
Be cautious:
Don’t chase highs
Watch volume on red days
Trade with structure, not hype
Learn to swim with the whales — not against them.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 1:36pm On Feb 23

It is called hidden order.
Only brokers make use of hidden order.
I have requested for it to be activated on my account but not possible.
Brokers/institutional traders use hidden order to control price so it doesn't crash.
They just release it one after another

There is nothing concrete in the company when it moved from N3 to about N17
It is all about paparazzi.
They can still find another way to redirect the price to wherever they want when they are ready.
