PETERiCHY:If Oando likes, let it close on ''overflow bid''! Seems you only see stocks that would close on full bid only after you buy them! ![]() Is it monkey hunting? |

I NGX/SEC was on Fair to ZICHIS for suspending the stock from trading even when they have not discovered any infraction. |

Can someone help me explain how this works? Even though Ellah no bids visible, there are trades going on.

Japaul....offers are being cleared bit by bit. Price action defies some of the logic we are seeing here. I have been in JP for over 7months, in fact I bought the last top of N3.6. I will keep observing. |

deathwing:Haaaa.. This is trading 101 na. When a stock is on full offer, any small bid that shows up will automatically and instantly get filled before it gets any chance of showing up on the order book. Like, that's exactly how it should be ![]() |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Agbalowomeri: 12:37pm On Feb 24 |
deathwing:The only reason you would ever see any bid is because there are no immediately matching offers. If there are matching orders, the bids are immediately executed without staying in queue |

Imagine a rat dancing happily in front of a trap because it sees food. The rat is excited. It thinks it has found an opportunity. But the person who set the trap is quietly watching. The rat focuses on the food. The trap owner focuses on timing. 📊 Now Apply It to Japaul Above 3.80 When people are bidding Japaul aggressively above 3.80: They are excited. They believe price must go higher. They rush to buy. But the whales are not excited. They are: Calm. Patient. Selling into the excitement. Waiting to buy back lower (around 3.20–3.50). 🐋 What This Means If price is above 3.80 and: Big bids appear but price doesn’t move strongly. Volume increases but breakout fails. Supply keeps entering the market. That is calculated distribution. Retail is dancing. Whales are watching. If you get ear, make you hear. Old woman no dey do mistake for the song she can dance well. Japaul & Loco na 5 &6. |

awesomeJ: @the bolded, the reverse is the case here rather. The directors of ZICHIS are guilty until proven otherwise. If retail investors doesn't have the shares yet after almost one month then who has been pushing the prices if not the holders who doubles as th directors? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Stockpromoter(m): 12:56pm On Feb 24 |

awesomeJ:10%-15% and above ₦50million depending on their size for Growth board. I think Zichis with over 500m market Cap as at listing date shoud be 15%. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by talk2me2: 1:06pm On Feb 24 |
Stockpromoter:It is this ZICHIS matter that cut short the japaul rally and like wise affecting many other stocks in the market. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 1:06pm On Feb 24 |
Valthegreat:I get your perspective. I'm just saying the NGX could have put measures in place to prevent that. There's no rule against hoarding. I mean just days back, people still hoarded Japaul thinking it was headed to 1k. So you can't blame them for hoarding. But if there's collusion on their part as regards creating fake bids and sorts, then they're culpable. If not, let NGX say the share price will remain stuck at listing price (1.81) until 20% of OS are floating freely. This would have mitigated the situation. |

awesomeJ:I think you are comparing 🍏 with 🍊. Compare apple with apple so that we will have a justifiable outcome. NCR is an old stock that has circulated properly into different hands both whales and retail investors so controlling the price can only work if all holders are in agreement just like FTGINSURE currently. But in the case of ZICHIS only the directors have the shares because of the listing by introduction. Just ask yourself this question, could the price have jumped this high if they listed by public offer? Very impossible because different holders will be happy to sell at different prices e.g #2.05 for quick ejaculators like Loco (LOL!), #2.30 for JIJOISTs like Ginalex, #3 for BILLIONAIRE preservers (deceivers) like Agba or even at #20 for Aradite holders like YMCY. With the picture painted above you can see that there will be liquidity at every junction and as such price manipulation will be impossible. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 1:18pm On Feb 24 |
Valthegreat:You're exactly right. But let NGX have more robust regulations to avoid unnecessary issues. From my days of programming backend engineering, we think of as many crazy scenarios as possible and make our logic accommodate them. That's how to build robust stable and sophisticated systems. But even the most robust systems still have some weird, crazy, edge cases unhandled, what do you do then, simple, just push a new patch and have a new release/version. If you had an app that's never been updated in the past 6 years, you can imagine how hectic your user experience would be. So are these old NGX rules becoming, they need a little bit of refinement. The market has changed significantly from what it was in 2019. As a matter of fact, since the demutualization that gave birth to a stand alone Regco, the said company, whose core job is regulation has not even come up with a single new rule, not even an amendment to an old rule, yet the market keeps changing. I put the larger blame on the NGX in this situation. |

talk2me2:The rally you saw was created by the whales. Dem be driver for Japaul. They are still in charge. They still control both the offers and bids even now.Thats the liquidity you are seeing but they are currently on distribution which will end today. From tomorrow they will be looking for a new support, psychological support and strong support. All these will happen this week. By next week, there will be another bull that will pick relevant stocks and Japaul as a speculative stock will join to usher in the month of March. |
