Does this mean you've deployed the funds you wanted to buy Japaul with?

Stock you were pleading desperately for at 4.7 crashed to 3.3, yet you didn't buy??

Fear is a crazy bastartd 😁😁😁😁

This market is just so funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's easier if people stick to their lane sha.

Long termers trying to speculate will always be extremely funny.
Japaul is in the kitty already, but I don't mind offloading it to invest in Providus-Unity shares
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 3:16pm On Feb 26
An investment in UNITY BANK at #3+ is worth it in my own opinion...

My aim is to be among it top 10 shareholders structure because of dividends...

Thanks to God PROVIDUS is in the picture. That PROVIDUS eh. Check them out and see that they could help UNITY enter the big league

Even at this preliminary stage, Providus is already the 9th biggest bank.
Imagine when they become fully operational and inherit Unity bank branches in the north!

I always do. Everytime I have always done so, even this time.
I hope this is not due to some sort of error.
Maybe you should cross check the transaction.

The 6 zeros figure I transfered to them this week was credited without sending any mail to inform them.

Nobody is above fear in this game ooo.
Japaul may have good prospects, but the challenge is how to maximize the deployment of one's capital between now and May2026 when it is expected to see another rally.

But if we had a confidence scale, 0 being most fearful, 100 being most confident, someone like Agba is would be on 3 while I'd be on like 97.

I sort of feel that 3 is too generous.

He's not that old na.

He should still be able to play this market with 40% of his investment portfolio.

Another pull back is here, MTN sold for 700 today.

The numbers aren't absolute.
Buying at N200 might have meant you were paying a premium, whereas N700 for the same stock is a steal.

You should still be aggressive for another 5 years at least.

Maybe it's even cos people think the "Agba" we clip off your moniker means elder, whereas it does indeed have zero correlation.

For those who don't know, "Agba" in this context means collector

But it's only fixed deposit pennies that he's collecting.

Agba is a miser....''alahun''. . grin grin
But he is a good man...just look for a very nice figure 8 as part of your proposal to buy any stocks....you will see Agba supporting you with confidence and high spirit.
O ti lo! grin grin

If the new born baby can dictate the enthalpy of the fire, he will make a sweet toy of it 😁😁

When market is too high, you turn it down a bit, later you raise it back up, and life is just sweet.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by HesInMe: 4:41pm On Feb 26
Mbok, what manipulations are you seeing?

Large caps likely rallied because of the liberalization of pension-fund equity allocation by Pencom. That meant that pension fund administrators (PFAs) could reduce their large fixed-income holdings and shift the funds to NGX-listed stocks in search of better returns. Analysts estimate that would mean as much as N1.5 trillion in new money in the NGX.

And PFAs mostly invest in large caps for liquidity and other reasons. They don't gamble invest our retirement money in the likes of Ellah.

I mentioned price manipulations in those Big Cap stocks but some people were quick to use fundamentals as excuse.....
They were manipulating them but pinning faults on small stocks...
Now, some sanity is coming to the big ogas..

Meanwhile, I've mentioned CHAMPION BREWERIES here quite sometimes.....
The stock is now looking up.....
Make I no too talk anyway 😁

Btw, I think what we are experiencing is result panic or fear of dividend declarations, once it's positive, market will stabilize....

** I'm with my Oga CP on DANGSUGAR...
We are waiting for result....😁
** For FBNH, we are for price appreciation, we no dey expect any big dividend

** From observation, Bull is somehow fighting back even amidst the profit taking...

The problem is how to get it at N3+ (or even at N5) because of the tendency to hoard in the midst of the rush to buy
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 5:16pm On Feb 26
Just drop cash with your broker with "knee down" buy order

It might surprise you that I have a secret admiration for Chuka Mordi and Ellah despite my bearish view on the stock. It's not personal; the company is not yet ready for prime time.

And because of that, they're making suboptimal decisions: ARPN is a lot to swallow. The offer was too big and too rich. And now they're being rushed to pay a dividend, when they should be investing in growth?

They should calm down and prepare for the marathon. Presco was not built in a day.

I think they have to pay some dividend (no matter how little) to redeem their imagine and reignite investor confidence in the company/stock. Otherwise, the stock price would crash to N1 and the directors that bought those shares would feel it more.
