Let us highlight the disparity in rewards and recognition between lower-cadre employees and management at Zenith Bank Plc. The workforce feels undervalued, with salaries and benefits that don't match the bank's performance and growth. Key concerns include: - Low salaries and welfare packages for lower-cadre employees - Management enjoying generous packages and bonuses - Perceived imbalance in sharing rewards and recognition - Impact on morale, loyalty, and passion among employees The call is for fairness, dignity, and a more equitable distribution of rewards. A motivated and valued workforce can drive sustainable growth and success for the bank. |

essentialone:1. This is not peculiar to Zenith Alone. 2. Profit sharing which presumably forms the fulcrum of complaints like this are not in your offer letter or letter of employment. 3. What is your definition of lower cadre of employees? No matter your grade as a full staff and not a contract employee, I am happy to inform you that you are well paid far above your contemporaries in the other sectors. This may not make you happy but it is the truth. Why not thank whatever or whoever you believe in. 4. Are you the one to determine how rewards and recognition are shared? You are a bloody employee,my guy. 5. Impact on morale? What happens to jumping ship? Will you deny not sending your CV all around the industry? My Guy, wait till God picks your next call. Adekunle Gold waited for a while. Omor, make good use of what you are being paid now. I can give you a long list of what to do now and what not to do. Thank God you are on the section of Nairaland. Start your investment journey today if not like yesterday. |

Throughout the history of organised labour, a salary has never truly been sufficient in "civilised slavery"—also known as the civil service. Raise civil servants' pay today, and they'll demand more tomorrow. Escaping the rat race and removing the golden handcuffs is purely an individual choice. No one is forced to work for anyone else. Being employed by a public or private organisation is a privilege, not a right. essentialone: |

yMcy56:All the shares I bought on 13th of February are not showing on my portfolio. They are not responding to email. I don message them tire. Though I'm be able to sell the shares, but I can't see them. My friend deposited money two weeks ago, till now, it has not been credited. After constant calls and emails for two weeks without response, they responded 2 days ago and told her that they didn't receive it. She went to the bank, print out her statement of account and send to them, yet nobody reply or said anything since then. It's frustrating. |

All eyes on JAGABAN. My heavy entry into OANDO is purely political calculations It's a very dangerous political move... I'm a student of political economy so I just had to risk it with DANGEROUS FUNDS PETERiCHY: |

The problems of Oando and Japaul na Wale and Jegede. The day they start reasoning like their former colleagues (Tony and OTEDOLA). You won't get their companies at bargain rates again... |

Valuation is not complete without considering future growth. Enter at the best possible price but don’t jump without first looking ahead. The weak who do not look ahead, will create opportunities for those who are farsighted. To understanding, add knowledge, and to apply all, is wisdom. The market is good at exposing human emotions and weaknesses..the “ohh I should have moments “. We are all here to learn, to improve, to be better, to make money but done in respect knowing that those here contribute one way or the other… if there are exceptions, then they must be few. Remember also…. “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man….” Have sharp ears, study, learn, ask questions when lost; the only stupid question is the one that wasn’t asked. Above all, do your research, your due diligence. If you do not learn from the mistakes of others, then you will learn from yours. |

Japaulgold – One Leg Up, Two Legs Back (Distribution Activated) What we are currently seeing on Japaulgold is a classic distribution pattern. When a stock makes: 🔼 One strong upward move (leg up) 🔽 Then pulls back sharply 🔼 Tries to bounce again 🔽 And falls even harder That is not strength — that is smart money offloading into retail demand. What “Distribution” Means Distribution happens when: Big players (whales) sell gradually. They allow price to rise slightly to attract buyers. Once buyers rush in, they supply heavy volume into that demand. Price fails to sustain breakout levels. Each rally becomes weaker than the previous one. So the structure becomes: Small rally → Heavy selloff → Weak bounce → Deeper drop. That is why we say: One leg up, two legs backwards. What to Watch Now If volume increases but price does NOT move up strongly → sellers are still active. If rallies fail below previous highs → distribution not finished. If aggressive selling appears after 1pm–2pm → whales still controlling. The Danger Buying during distribution is dangerous because: You are buying from someone exiting. Breakouts will likely fail. Stop-loss hunters will be active. Emotional traders will be trapped. What Confirms Distribution Is Over? Only when: Price forms a base. Selling pressure reduces. Volume contracts during pullbacks. Then strong expansion breakout happens. Until then, this remains a trader’s stock, not investor’s stock. Stay calm. Let whales finish their business before stepping in. Be ware. |
