Morgan Capital has drastically changed compared how they deal with clients before late 2025 to now.
I also had issues, no response to mail, not responding calls etc

Xidget:
All the shares I bought on 13th of February are not showing on my portfolio. They are not responding to email. I don message them tire. Though I'm be able to sell the shares, but I can't see them.

My friend deposited money two weeks ago, till now, it has not been credited. After constant calls and emails for two weeks without response, they responded 2 days ago and told her that they didn't receive it. She went to the bank, print out her statement of account and send to them, yet nobody reply or said anything since then. It's frustrating.

There's difference between pull back in oil prices and true crash.

Did it crash like 2014 or 2020?

In 2014 oil pull back from $100 to below $40. In 2020 it went near zero.

There was pull back last year. It was between 15-20% Not recession level crash.

I am not saying we are at the stage now. But it make sense to plan for the eventuality.

Megawealth01 is balling now because he seized 2020 crash and set himself up for the rally he is enjoying now.
Both of them na crash.

Market set for 4 consecutive red close.

First weekly red since January.

The pullback was necessary.

So you think we won't have recession again?
Recession will happen but not in sight in the next 4 years if this government continues in the direction of reform they are currently on. that 4 years even depends on how far we are in our diversification drives n resetting of the economy through reforms. If we able to decouple fully from oil then no shaking till we outgrow those gains n new ways are required.

How can this govt's reforms stop a global recession?.
Let's stop hyping the so called ''reforms'' because nothing special or fundamental is happening.
What are you exporting now that can make you decouple fully from crude oil in the next 5 years?
True diversification and economic reset is not based on political gimmicks and propaganda?

So u see global recession in the near term?

If Nigeria does not depends on oil in the next 4 years n no war or pandemic, tell me how we can be hit with global recession.

The three factors are not even close to positive zone.

All these noise of recession is just over thinking.

We are use too low to moderate results is the causes of this needless over thinking about ASI. Check other markets performance even some in africa here..

The last time I checked based on last year gain, Nigeria is not no 1 in africa. So?

Thanks for this advice. This will be explored.

It's really frustrating dealing with Morgan Capital with these missing stocks. I even heard their COO pulled out not long ago.

Also, please does anyone have information on whom to contact directly in Morgan Capital?

Appreciate

As an investor, over thinking leads to distruction, buffet, one of the best investors said he doesn't bother himself about macro economics because he doesn't have control over it.

He has seen the worst case economic meltdown but stay invested, what is the results today. But thise that over think then where are they.

Morgan called them noise makers.

Refer to what you typed earlier:
'Recession will happen but not in sight in the next 4 years if this government continues in the direction of reform they are currently on''

Your comment above is saying that govt reforms is the panacea that would avoid a recession, because that is the conditionality in your statement.

If Nigeria does not depends on oil in the next 4 years n no war or pandemic, tell me how we can be hit with global recession
''

Nigeria will surely depend on oil in the next 4 years because there are no credible substitutes due to weak industrial/manufacturing/export base
And get this: global recession is not caused by only war or pandemic. There was neither war nor pandemic in 2007-2009 when we had the global recession.. I hope you are aware and do remember

I think it is now safe to declare Morgan as a Company of Particular Concern (CPC) following the growing list of complains recently. Things we use use to take for granted with them before is now seeming like rocket science to them.

If I understand you, you are saying they may have sold some of your stocks without your authorization.

Hajicairo:
Ma'am.... This is true. My 1963 Wapco is still missing from my portfolio as we speak. This issue started in December 2025. After sending several emails without making any headway.
I personally email CSCS and copy MorganCapital on the email.
CSCS emailed me back after 2 days that I don't have such stock in my CSCS account and I should pay =N=1075:00 into their bank account to get my transactions history on my Wapco shares.
I paid the money and the document were emailed to me. According to the trading history from CSCS, on 23rd December 2025 the same 1963 Wapco shares was traded... NOT BY ME and no trading proceeds was made into my MorganCapital trading account.
I disputed the transaction and forwarded to CSCS my MorganCapital trading history for the month, Portfolio valuation (Showing my Wapco shares still in my portfolio but can't execute the trade). Also included is my trade note for December and also on 23rd December 2025 which does not include any Wapco shares traded.
This shares is on my portfolio with MorganCapital and not in my portfolio with CSCS.
I'm still waiting a response from CSCS.

MY TAKE.
MorganCapital need to do more in cases like this. It might be possible the fault is from CSCS and if I did not call MorganCapital to ask for update they will not get back to assure me that they are doing something about it. I cannot count how many calls I have made.
Whichever way I hope i will get my shares back in time.

I'm open to any advice in this matter.

Thanks.

I hope this part is not true. I placed a withdrawal from thr app this morning. This was not suppose to be so because I am waiting for pull back to reinvest but I don't like what I have been reading here.So let me have the cash in my own account. They have sent me a notification concerning my request. Let me isee f the money will be delayed before it hit my account. If it happens then when to move portfolio is close

So published data about our export is fake?
Please do not mix the issues.
The revenue from export of crude oil goes directly to FG.
Most of the revenue from non-oil exports goes to private businesses that did the export e.g. export of ginger, manufactured goods etc. FG share of such revenue are not significant enough for the govt to fund the budget and other developmental needs.
