nosa2:That is fair, but... Israel has killed over 50,000 innocent Palestinians in the recent wars, mostly women and children. A recent incident involved Israeli soldiers shooting a young boy and watching him bleed to death over several minutes; the report is still on the BBC website. How do you feel about that? |

ositadima1:The people of gaza voted for Hamas knowing fully well that Hamas planned to attack Isreal. They are not innocent. Votes have consequences. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 10:34pm On Mar 01 |
nosa2:Lol, how and where was this vote cast? So if Tinubu and his government decide to commit crimes, would it be justified in your eyes to kill innocent people on the street? Isn’t that delusional? |

ositadima1:You no know before? The people are ultimately responsible for the decisions of their leaders. Who did the dying in Nazi Germany? Who did the dying in Biafra? Who is doing the dying in Russia and Ukraine? With regards to the elections look at the link below https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2006/1/26/hamas-wins-huge-majority P.S lets not go into politics. Peterichy will never hit the nail on the head. Better digest this before buying or panic sell 👇👇👇👇 Tomorrow’s NGX session is likely to be more volatile and sentiment-driven than fundamentally driven. Bullish bias: Oil price lift supporting energy-linked stocks and macro sentiment. Bearish bias: Risk aversion and capital outflows putting pressure on broader market performance. Traders should watch overnight global cues (oil, US equities, FX) before positioning early tomorrow. |

unite4real:Brent is $81 per barrel as at early Monday trading (12a.m). We’ll see how long it maintains such a high price. Update: Now $79 and going down. |

If Brent Falls From $69 – What It Means for NGX & Oil Stocks Brent crude is currently trading around $69 per barrel. If we see a decline from this level, here are the likely negative implications for the Nigerian market. 1️⃣ Immediate Impact on Oil Stocks (Energy Names) A drop in Brent usually means: Lower revenue expectation for upstream producers Reduced earnings optimism Profit-taking in energy counters Weak investor sentiment in oil-linked stocks On the NGX, energy stocks like Oando Plc, Seplat Energy Plc, and others tend to react quickly to crude price movement. 🔴 Likely Reaction: Early sell pressure Intraday volatility Possible breakdown if volume expands on red candles If Brent falls sharply below $67–$65, expect stronger downside reaction. 2️⃣ Broader NGX Market Effect Nigeria is an oil-dependent economy. When Brent drops: FX confidence weakens Naira sentiment deteriorates Foreign investors reduce exposure Risk-off mood spreads That affects not just oil stocks, but: Banking sector Industrial stocks Insurance stocks Consumer goods Even sectors not directly linked to oil can sell off because macro confidence declines. I pray Brent doesn't go down to $65 This might bring panic sell |

nosa2:Your victim-blaming is very stupid and insensitive. When did this election you talked about take place? Over 18 years ago. Is that what you areusing to judge their annihilation that took place recently? If you are subjected to the humiliation of military occupation and the indignity of being kept in an open-air prison with the IDF on one side and armed HAMAS on the left, what would your choices be? |

Na $77 it finally settled. optimism is not loud Us action on Iran could last 4 weeks- -Says Trump- Still keep eyes on oil price. There could be more upside and it can even slide to below $65 Not an easy war

The bolded doesn't stop 🇳🇬 from benefitting from a hike in crude price. Nigeria (and companies like OandO) will benefit from the difference in the loan benchmark and actual market price... Joyful365: |

ositadima1:Sad but when you seek the annihilation of the state of Israel and openly declare and pursue it (October 7), Israel will also lose all sense of morality in it's battle for survival.. they are facing an existential threat.. how about first accepting their right to exist? Israel has faced genocidal attacks from Haman, Roman empire, Hitler and now some quoting the Quoran to pursue the killing of Jews |

ogawisdom:Yes o. You are very correct. It doesn't make any sense in buying all stocks. There are about 155 stocks on NGX today. I presently own about 30 companies. This really doesn't make sense. I have planning to trim it down to 10 stocks which have rewarded me in dividends and capital appreciation. I am really working on it. If one is heavily loaded in a stock, once they pay dividend you are very happy. Hence, i am concentrating my energy to massively invest in just 10 stocks. ![]() |
