SonofElElyonRet:I don't think it is true that Palestine did not exist ab initio, if you read the book of Exodus-Joshua properly you will discover that the current Palestinians should be the Philistines which God warned the Israelites to annihilate completely from the land when they take over the promised land and that if they don't they will remain a thorn in their flesh Exod. 23:33, Numb 33:55-56, Joshua 2:3. And Gaza was specifically mentioned as a land belonging to the Philistines in Joshua 13:2-3, Zephan 2:4-7. In fact it was clearly stated that Sampson was imprisoned in Gaza by the Philistines Judges 16:1-21. So there's no confusion about who are the Palestines, if you read the bible account they were the popular Philistines that has never allowed Israelites to drink water and keep cup since time immemorial. Whatever they are doing now is just a continuation of the war. If you read the bible well Palestinians have done more of whatever the Israelites are doing to them today in the past so I no dey watch their current movie, who ever has more power should win. But the war will never be over. God warned the Israelites to conquer them clearly but they listed them as part of the land yet to be conquered in Joshua 13:2-3 so that war will be endless. |

Iran has struck Saudi Aramco facility, the war appears to be spiraling out of control. Dangote might also see heavy cash flows as markets react. |

ositadima1:Iran should watch how it attacks fellow Arab nations so it does not lose their support and sympathy because that would be a big mistake. We hope the possible rise in fuel price would not cascade down to affect our pump price in Nigeria too? |

Agbalowomeri:You support Tinubu with the same kind of strength (prayer) here even when someone like me who have lived in Northern Nigeria before still wonders how the poor peasant farmers there who struggled during prosperity (Jonathan) are surviving the hyper inflation (Tinubu). So we all support evil sometimes but in different ways and manners, that's very unfortunate though. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Valthegreat(m): 3:38pm On Mar 02 |
IamR:I seriously doubt if the name 'Arab' depicting a group of people or tribe was already in existence during the bible days. I haven't come across that name in the bible, I stand to be corrected though. However, if Gaza belonged to the Philistines in the bible and belong to the Palestines today why should I be confused about the name. It is easier to change the name than to change the ownership of the land. |

Valthegreat:The Philistines distinct culture disappeared after Babylonian and later Persian conquests. The Romans renamed the area Palestina after crushing the Jewish revolt in 135 CE. Please note that Palestinians are not descendants of the Philistines. |

📡 Loco Insurance & Index Summary for Traders Market Closed Edition – March 2, 2026 🧭 NGX Insurance Index Structure Open: 1,359.91 High: 1,379.25 Low: 1,323.80 Close: 1,339.59 Change: -1.49% 🔎 Key Structure Levels (Loco Framework) Major Support: 1,300 Reclaim Zone: 1,350 – 1,380 Breakout Level: 1,400 Bullish Thesis Invalidation: Daily close below 1,300 The index rejected the 1,350–1,380 reclaim zone and pulled back to close at 1,339.59. Structure remains intact above 1,300, but momentum weakened. This is a pullback within accumulation, not breakdown — yet. 📊 Sector Volume Assessment Total Insurance Volume: 239,849,168 shares Total Value: ₦803.09 million Under Loco recap model: 100m–150m → Early accumulation 150m–250m → Strong participation Above 250m → Aggressive positioning Today’s 239m places the sector firmly in strong participation territory. ⚠️ However, price declined while volume remained elevated — this signals distribution pressure inside structure, not clean accumulation. 🏦 Tier 1 Leadership Confirmation (Mandatory Check) Custodian Investment Plc: -10.00% ❌ AXA Mansard Insurance Plc: -7.61% ❌ NEM Insurance Plc: -0.60% ⚠️ Tier 1 failed to confirm strength. Under Loco rules: A sustainable move toward 1,400 requires alignment from Custodian, NEM, and Mansard. Without Tier 1 support, rallies remain vulnerable. 🔄 Sector Breadth & Capital Rotation Speculative strength rotated into lower-priced recap names: FTGINSURE – 109m volume Veritas Kapital – 23.5m Mutual Benefits – 22.8m AIICO – 15.4m Meanwhile, quality names saw profit-taking. This confirms internal rotation, not sector-wide exit. 🟢 Top 3 Insurance Gainers Sovereign Trust Insurance – +9.95% FTGINSURE – +9.57% Guinea Insurance – +7.19% 🔴 Top 3 Insurance Losers Custodian Investment – -10.00% Cornerstone Insurance – -8.00% AXA Mansard – -7.61% Breadth shows speculative momentum dominating over defensive leadership. 🚨 Phase Classification (Loco Alert Model) Conditions observed: Index above 1,300 Strong sector volume Tier 1 weakness Active Tier 2 speculation 📌 Current Phase: Distribution Alert within Accumulation Zone This is not markdown. But leadership misalignment increases short-term volatility risk. 🎯 Next Trading Session Watch Levels Immediate support: 1,330 Major structural support: 1,300 Reclaim strength trigger: 1,350 Breakout confirmation: Sustained close above 1,400 with 150m–250m+ volume ⚠️ Reminder: A close below 1,300 invalidates the bullish recap thesis. 🧠 Loco’s Tactical Conclusion The recap structure is still technically alive, but internal weakness surfaced today. Capital is rotating within the sector — not exiting — yet Tier 1 must stabilize for sustainability. As long as 1,300 holds, this remains a controlled pullback. Lose 1,300, and structure shifts defensive. Loco continues to monitor leadership behavior and volume consistency closely. |

Israel has been attacked several times by joint Arab forces (go check your history). The charter of Hamas calls for the destruction of the state of Israel. Even from childhood and in their schools, children are taught to kill Israelis. It's part of their curriculum. Indeed it is a command to kill Israelis but moderate Muslims do not follow this. It's in the Quoran! Many that follow this believe it is a divine command that they have an obligation to fulfill. You talk out of ignorance. Before the state of Israel there was no state of Palestine. The territories now forming Palestine were under Jordan and Egypt... The state of Israel is just a small strip of land and still they are being told they have no right to be there. Have you watched the video of the October 7 attack and how ordinary Palestinians celebrated. One attacker even called his mother and father to tell them he killed a jew and the parents said they were proud of him. Israel is facing an existential threat and Iran is the arrowhead and sponsor, fighting a proxy war through Hamas Hezbollah Houthis and Shiite militias in Syria, Iraq etc.. stop arguing blindly!
