I think this war in Iran is getting to something else. I called a Dr. working in Saudi, she said the airspace over there, and almost every city in the middle east has been shut down. So even if you want to return back to Nigeria, it has to be a special and very expensive arrangement or by road. Iran is just throwing missiles at all directions. Dangote has raised the pump price of fuel and it's just starting. I hope out stock exchange don't get negatively affected |

megawealth01:FTGINSURE has shown impressive price appreciation this year — up several hundred percent from earlier lows — making it one of the top movers on the NGX lately. ripplesnigeria.com During periods of bullish market sentiment in 2026, the stock has attracted significant buying interest. Some technical analysis platforms currently flag the stock as a “buy” on moving averages and trend indicators The company reported losses in recent financial results and negative earnings per share, meaning it isn’t currently profitable. Many valuation metrics (like P/E ratio) are not meaningful because of the loss position. |

ositadima1:I’m already up 10% with a full bid. Nawao, the gamble has paid off so far. Should I sell or hold for another day? Keep in mind, this was purely speculative, I have no metrics behind it. |

Insurance Sector Watch – March Positioning Sovereign Trust Insurance has delivered ~10% gains for 3 straight sessions. That kind of momentum in a Tier 2 name often triggers rotation within the insurance basket. Now attention shifts to Royal Exchange Plc. Royalex needs to close the Sovereign gap tightly to attract fresh bids and avoid being left behind in this momentum wave. If volume expands and bids stack, it could quickly come on strong demand. That said, true sector breakout above 1,400 still requires confirmation from: Custodian Investment Plc NEM Insurance Plc AXA Mansard Insurance Plc Watch Royalex closely today. |

Who Gains, Who Loses — A Very Human Story 💔 Hardest hit: Oil-importing nations (inflation, trade deficits) Low-income households (fuel, food costs rise) Emerging markets (currency weakness, capital outflows) 💡 Potential beneficiaries: Oil-exporting economies (higher revenues in the short term) — for example, Nigerian exporters may see improved external balances as prices rise. Defensive asset holders (gold, safe bonds) But higher energy revenues don’t automatically translate to broad prosperity — many oil producers still face structural challenges and long-term economic transformations. Bottom Line: A War That Echoes Beyond the Battlefield The current U.S.–Iran conflict isn’t just another regional clash — it sits at the intersection of geopolitics and the global economy. Because energy underpins everything from transport to food prices to industrial production, disruptions in the Middle East can ripple across continents, affecting consumers, markets, and policy decisions worldwide. 🔎 In essence: Oil supply fears → higher fuel and living costs Financial uncertainty → market volatility Trade disruptions → supply chain stress Inflation pressures → central bank dilemmas Historical parallels remind us that energy shocks reverberate far and long. Mpeace:It doesn't look like the US has learnt much from it's Iraqi misadventures by expecting the war with Iran to be sorted in a few days by merely dropping a few bombs and taking out the Ieadership. We saw it in Iraq, we witnessed it in Libya and Syria. We should all be prepared for a long sumtin. |
