This strange obsession with dividends, eh? When a company that should be investing in growth (like Ellah) or deleveraging (like Oando, Dangsug) starts talking about dividends, we should be asking management whether their head correct and selling the stock. megawealth01: |

zendi:Lol. Only if I am "he", ![]() my first priority go be to just sell CBN to access Bank as a strong member of MOFI. ![]() If he does or doesn't, then you have your answer on my person. I just know he's a technocrat in the finance space. I may not all like the tax of a thing. But doesn't take away his portfolio and professional disposition to issues. Most of the ministers-of-state are usually shadows of positions. We need those that add more value rather than filling a space just like VP osinbajo was quite visible.. By Naija general standard, he's quite qualified ![]() |

Compute valuation based on net reserves entitlement per share and it is clear Oando is seriously undervalued. I shared my estimates based on this last month. Let’s use numbers. It’s based on this value lenders are happy to extract interest income safely from Oando. megawealth01: |

I had to buy back all my OANDO and invest heavily in it too as if my finances depended on it. It was a huge risk for me because I fear Wale but seems it has proven to be worth it sha... BabsO2: |

I think something positive may happen in Oando very soon. I raised this suspicion recently. Just take a copy of Oando's 2025 unaudited financial statement and look at the figures under ''Company''.....equity, retained earnings are positive. While the investing public generally focuses on figures under ''Group'', it seems Oando is restructuring so that dividend, bonus etc. can be declared by ''Company''. |

Simple Message from the Loco Insurance Index Today The NGX Insurance sector is currently building energy inside the 1,350 – 1,380 corridor, which is the pre-breakout zone in the Loco framework. This phase usually represents institutional positioning and quiet accumulation as smart money gradually builds exposure ahead of a potential sector move. So far, the index has held above the 1,350 structure support, confirming that the broader insurance sector remains within a constructive accumulation pattern rather than a breakdown. The major trigger level remains 1,400. A clean and sustained breakout above 1,400, supported by stronger sector participation and leadership from key insurers, would signal the start of a full sector rally and a possible acceleration across many insurance counters. Until that breakout happens, the sector may continue to consolidate within the 1,350–1,380 corridor, allowing the market to build the momentum required for the next leg higher. In simple terms: The insurance sector is coiling and preparing for a move, and 1,400 is the level that unlocks the rally. Happy investing |

TARGET TECHNICAL EARLY MORNING MARKET!!! Looking at this bullish season critically, it seems people are not really comfortable about the seemingly improving economy. But as traders/investors in the market, we should follow along and if we see the few buyers pushing the market making for the exit door we better follow them. For now, let us just pretend that there is a bull market and we are playing along. What will the Allshare Index do today!!!
