Itzlinda:I don’t think the hedge will cause them to lose money. Rather, it means they won’t benefit from additional gains if prices rise above the contracted level. The only real loss would occur if the cost of production increases beyond the fixed price. |

Thank you Loco index for showing Loco the best disciplined way of trading. I never knew I can make something from custodian until now. Follow Loco index for stock picks. It's really working for traders. Once 1,400 is triggered,it's all about breakout |

essentialone:That should be an eye opener to all insurance stocks. Stanbic and Gtb shewed other banks the leg and they followed up later.Today we all can see where zenith & co are now. My advice is let patient insurance traders or investors position on the insurance stocks and wait for re-rating.It will surely come in the next 3-4 months. |

Make the custodian wait first sha. My average cost is N69 and I'm literally tired of buying stocks everyday on the NGX. Make e just chill for 60-70 region until my brain clear by month end. I want it to be my next aradel sha. |

“lNot necessarily. In a fragmented industry like insurance, today’s ‘cream of the crop’ can quickly become tomorrow’s average player. Sometimes the real opportunity is identifying the companies quietly building structural advantages—better underwriting discipline, technology, or distribution—before the market recognizes them. Insurance Sector Outlook – Gradual Move Toward 1,420 If Custodian Investment Plc stabilizes around the ₦84 level, the NGX Insurance Index could realistically push toward 1,420 before the end of March 2026. Custodian is one of the key Tier-1 leadership stocks in the insurance sector. When it strengthens and maintains higher price levels, it usually reflects institutional confidence in the sector, especially during the recapitalization positioning phase. What This Means for the Sector • Custodian holding ₦82 – ₦84 keeps bullish pressure in the sector. • Other Tier-1 stocks like NEM Insurance and AXA Mansard may follow with upward momentum. • Capital rotation can then extend into Tier-2 stocks such as AIICO, Royal Exchange, Veritas Kapital, Mutual Benefits, and others. Index Projection If this leadership structure holds: - 1,380 – Pre-breakout pressure zone - 1,400 – Major breakout trigger - 1,420 – Possible target before end of March if momentum continues Key Requirement For this move to happen, the insurance sector must maintain strong participation, ideally with daily volumes trending toward 150M – 250M shares across the sector. Loco Tactical View The insurance sector appears to be climbing gradually toward a breakout structure. If Custodian stabilizes near ₦84, the 1,420 index level becomes achievable before the end of March 2026. The move may not happen in one day — but the structure is gradually building toward that level. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Raider76: 11:56am On Mar 06 |
The management of the NGX should meet with CBN to work out modalities for banks to meet NGX filing requirements as per regulation. Banks and all stakeholders obey CBN regulations strictly. CBN must also respect and comply with the regulations of other institutions, especially those of the NGX where banks go to for capital raising. 4willer: |

SonofElElyonRet:Drama… you could have bought Fortis at 79k but the fear of “holding the bag” stopped you. But in the insurance sector right now, there is hardly any company you can hold the bag for long. All the insurance companies are currently fighting for recapitalization, strengthening their balance sheets and going through internal restructuring to meet the new capital requirements. Because of this, most of them are repositioning for growth and attracting smart money into the sector. Sometimes the real risk is not holding the bag… the real risk is waiting too long while the sector quietly rerates. |

Been reading up on this ANOH gas field stuff. Interesting. Does it still make sense to pile into SEPLAT at this price? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Stockpromoter(m): 12:10pm On Mar 06 |
Fortis Global insurance Many investors are overlooking a key factor about Fortis Global Insurance. The company is not just another small insurance firm in the sector. A foreign investment group, Endura Investment Global Ltd, came in and acquired a significant stake in the company and participated in the restructuring process. This move helped reposition the company financially and operationally. Following the restructuring, Fortis Global moved from a negative shareholders’ equity position to a strong positive balance sheet. That kind of turnaround usually signals deeper long-term strategic plans and improved corporate governance. When foreign investors step into an insurance company during a recapitalization cycle, it often means they see long-term value and growth potential. Because of this positioning, Fortis Global may eventually be rated ahead of some smaller insurance companies such as Universal Insurance, Guinea Insurance, Linkage Assurance and similar low-capital players in the sector. With recapitalization now pushing all insurance companies to strengthen their capital base, firms that already have restructuring momentum and strategic backing could have a clear advantage going forward. |
