And why celebrate women for only 1 day out of 365/6 ?

This is not an argument for gender equality.

Men are clearly superior to women in physical, violent, endurance and leadership roles.
You need to see children being raised without a father.
But to single out just 1 day of 365 and say it's for women looks unfair insulting and dehumanizing to me.

Better we just celebrate life and entire humanity every day.

I reject for the women in my life the Women's Day whether you call it International or National.

VeritasKap
Strengths
1. Has a new CEO/MD, a no-nonsense career chief who understands the sector
2. The 2025 statement is looking good with a lot more prudent management and an increase in the investment portfolio. The negative earnings have turned green
3. Earnings 2025 EPS is 0.93 but I consider it even more remarkable coming from a negative 0.57. In other words a move of 0.57 +0.93 =1.50. Compared well to that of Mutual Benefit Assurance
4. Q4 earnings stand alone is 0.42 profit at Q4 was 2,925,972,000 compared to the 2025 UF year of 6,459,407,000 a remarkable surge when compared
5. Common sense strategy is based on an average PE range of 4 and 5 and when the multiples are far outstretched, on the sector’s average PE multiple or the company's PE multiple whichever is lower. Earnings must however be organic or with a high probability of repeat occurrence
6. Veritaskap’s calculations were based on the Q4 earnings and the strength of the new management against the background of Insurance sector reforms.

You may wish to refer to some of my past posts for deeper insight.

Let's see what the Q1 2026 results would come up as: then we can recalculate and restrategize.

I own VeritasKap. But kindly do your research before you jump in.
The EPS is confusing. Their Shares outstanding is 13.87 billion with PAT of N6.4 billion. That should translate to less than N0.50 per share. Or am I missing something?
I also hear that they plan to do a capital raise of N15 billion through private placement.

I know but you never attended to my question.
Why is it counted as an insurance company ?
Why is the volume & value included on the insurance index ?
I still consider it as a core insurance company if these answers are not provided.

These two custodian & Royalex are not listed in the insurance sector but contributes to insurance index.
I need clarity please if you know the reason...
Custodian is listed as “Conglomerate” on NGX.

Why is going to church and creating a "Sun-"day" for worship more appropriate than creating a "women's-day"?

They should all be done daily without any "special-day" init

CBN should respond to Access very soon, probably this March because the banks are ordinarily required to publish their accounts by March 31 or early April unless where there is a request or permission by CBN for an extension.

IyaTola:
IMPLEMENTATION OF A PEER-TO-PEER (P2P) SHARE TRANSFER SYSTEM ON THE NIGERIAN EXCHANGE (NGX)”

It is advisable for the Nigerian Exchange Group to consider introducing a direct stock transfer or peer-to-peer (P2P) share transfer mechanism within its trading infrastructure, similar to the model used by cryptocurrency exchanges.

Such a system would enable investors and traders to transfer listed equities directly between verified accounts on the exchange platform, without the compulsory involvement of traditional stockbrokers for every transaction. Technically, this could be implemented through a centralized digital registry or blockchain based settlement layer that records ownership and validates transfers in real time.

By integrating this functionality, NGX could achieve several strategic benefits:

* Improved market efficiency: Real time or near real time settlement of equity transfers.

* Reduced transaction costs: Minimizing brokerage intermediation for simple transfers between investors.

* Enhanced liquidity: Easier movement of securities between market participants may stimulate trading activity.

* Greater investor participation: Retail investors may find the market more accessible and technologically aligned with modern digital asset exchanges.

* Transparency and security: A digital ledger system can provide an immutable record of ownership and transaction history.

To ensure market integrity, the system could still operate under NGX regulatory oversight, incorporating KYC/AML compliance, account verification, and transaction monitoring, while allowing investors greater flexibility in managing and transferring their equity holdings.

Overall, implementing a secure digital share transfer framework could modernize the NGX ecosystem and align it with emerging global trends in financial market infrastructure.

Veteran Kingsley W.
This will significantly reduce the importance of brokers.

It will also significantly reduce their brokerage income as well.

I doubt SEC will approve such any time soon..

But if implemented, it will really reduce transaction costs for investors and traders.

Iskalamong!

When it comes to the approval of banks audited accounts, CBN is like small god o. Na when dem finish you see result, they don't care about the NGX rules; at the end of the day the banks will bear any consequences of the delay.

Can we trust a bank making a stress test on itself? Is it not the CBN that is supposed to do it?
