Recovery was hell – pain, swelling, couldn't sit properly for weeks – but I pushed through because I wanted to look "perfect" for him and our big day planned for June.Fast forward to last week: Surgery healed nicely (curves on point, friends were hyping me up). I surprised him by showing up at his Lekki apartment unannounced with lingerie and dinner. Door was unlocked (weird, he always locks). I walked in... and caught the shock of my life.He was in bed with another girl – not just any girl, my own cousin sister who I introduced to him as family! They were laughing, naked, my BBL recovery meds still on his bedside table like nothing. Just look at this story; a guy transfers money straight to the clinic so his fiancée can “look perfect” walking down the aisle. He covers the surgery, hotel, everything.

Plot twist? After all the pain and recovery, he’s sleeping with her natural-bodied cousin, typing, “She’s confident, no fake stuff.”

The same man who funded the upgrade is now shaming the very insecurity he helped create. Naija men, you guys are really something!That’s the real referral program.

They laugh at small yansh and post-pregnancy bodies in group chats, calling them “flat” or “not giving,” until the girl feels worthless and books the appointment.

Then they turn around, drop millions like saviors, and later claim, “I prefer natural o.”

The same mouth that mocks is the one paying for the “fix.” Clinics cash out, but the real wound comes from your side every single time.

Hypocrisy on another level.

Ladies, this is a wake-up call. Your body doesn’t need a ₦4.8M upgrade to be wife material. the pressure from these inconsistent standards is pushing too many women under the knife for nothing.

Rock what God gave you with full confidence; don’t let any man turn your self-worth into a surgery bill. The more of us speak out, the faster this cycle ends.
