Financing here may be in equity positions with higher risk and rewards

nosa2:
If you think about it you know this doesn't make any sense right. Loans are given out based on ability to repay rather than Sector

Ah, so they may be taking equity positions in mining operations. That makes more sense
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by BabsO2(m): 3:43pm On Mar 12
I am just guessing. Financing can mean loan, convertible loan or equity. Interested investors need to verify which one or ones applies.

UNITY BANK 💕😘💕

We are looking at surpassing WEMA in price when suspension is LIFTED... The books will look healthier with our new management at PROVIDUS 💕

DIVIDENDS payment will come earlier than expected in my opinion 😔
If it lists at about sub N4 and ends up surpassing wema bank price, that'll be a kill!

Lol, this must be a joke. How the heck do you know he is down? Or are you listening to content creators? Half of them just come here to crack jokes and leave.

If anyone is likely to lose big money, it would be Mankind with his pattern of investing. Loco has always been a trader since 2020, from when I first met him here. Once a stock is not going his way, he is out.

It’s people like Pa Ema and the other long-term investors that will endure for the stock. If Presco starts dropping 10% daily, Oga will remain there and even buy more. Even after a 50% haircut, Loco can never do that.

And Agba? The last time we confirmed he bought anything was in 2022. He mostly comes here to destress. cool
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jckgroup1(m): 6:42pm On Mar 12
How did some of us arrive at this conclusion?
Who told you Loco is down or making losses? He may not believe compounding as the eight wonder of the universe but he ain't making losses. He recently purchased a property from the proceeds of his trades.

Loco enters big into liquid stocks and books profit big time as most of his targets are cyclical and makes no investment sense staying invested considering time value of money... Well I am not holding brief for him.

One of our respected NSEMPA Guru defines himself as a TradInvestor, every one mustn't be a long term Investor like Mankind to beat the market. Just know what works for you and stay put. Mega can't really be classified as a Long term Investor or at least Value investor, I will rather say He is a Patient Speculator and his strategy has made him a Billionaire though some say na Audio Billionaire nevertheless a Billionaire just like we discussed FO earlier; poorest Dollar Billionaire nevertheless a Dollar Billionaire. We also have AwesomeJ with his awesome billion trading strategy. Agba has a compounding strategy investing long term in mutual funds while Pa Emma has a compounding strategy investing long-term in value growth stocks. Personally, I have investment account for long term investment enjoying compounding and I have a trade account for short term trades multiplying liquidity after all cash is king, may be I am a unique kind of TradInvestor. Some others are Day Traders, Momentum Traders, Medium Term Investors e.t.c It is said that many roads lead to Rome.

You're the CEO of your portfolio is a popular slogan on NSEMPA, no one is the CEO of Loco's portfolio.

Me thinking aloud.

🤣🤣🤣
Mankind2024:
I advised Loco back in 2025, but he ignored it. Now the desperation to bail out is becoming obvious for everyone to see. Many members have already noticed both the panic and his remarkable talent for “monkey hunting.”
The more he floods the forum with ChatGPT-generated opinions and analysis about the insurance sub-sector, the deeper those stocks seem to sink into the red. At this point, the best thing Loco can do is step back, restrategize, and start focusing on fundamentally sound companies. Then let Mr. Time do the heavy lifting if he truly wants to build wealth and maybe one day qualify for the N1B-gang portfolio.
Jokes aside, Loco should be embarrassed. Going from being a trader to turning into a full-time stock promoter is not a good look at all. His story is beginning to resemble Cathie Wood of ARK Invest — a classic case of how conviction can slowly turn into self-inflicted wealth destruction.
Hopefully he can stop spamming this forum with hourly promotions of insurance stocks.
The real irony of the market is this: the exact day Loco finally dumps his insurance portfolio will probably be the same day the entire sector turns green. This is called "The village people effect" in NGX.

You are also guilty of what you accused others of.
Just for your information, Agba has done 2 rounds of entering and exiting the market with good profits after the year 2022 you mentioned.

I don't know about that, but I am very sure of his incessant claims about a bear market and market collapse since 2022. His posts are here, I’m not making anything up, and I can quote them. Ever since 2022.

Maybe you are his broker, so I wouldn’t doubt you. I’m simply basing my opinion on what is publicly available.

Brent crude settled above $100 a barrel for the first time since August 2022 as millions of barrels remain trapped in the Persian Gulf, creating the biggest oil market disruption in history.

He can't be bearish since 2022😂. 2020 was a recession period worldwide.

Lol, it’s like you’re new here. Anyone who followed Agba since 2022 would not have bought anything. Haven’t you heard about his Ichimoku Cloud or how he kept insisting that GTCO would return to 20 naira even while it was rallying?

Even till today, just read his posts, when he’s not joking about something, the next thing is a market crash.
