Those who badmouthed me about UNITY BANK go soon run after the beautiful bride at #30

We should start paying dividends within the shortest time soon...

But we still rely much on imported palm oil. Presco and Okomu together only meet 5% of local demand unless my data source is wrong
Like I said they remain solid companies with strong fundamentals but lately both companies have been complaining about illegal importation and foreign competitions

They said it has contributed to 43% drop in domestic fruit bunch prices. I'm not really sure how that will impact their profitability in 2026. They was why I sounded the note of caution.

I don’t think they will suddenly become unprofitable but their margins might be diluted
Yes , I agree but I will just like to see the Q1 2026 numbers before I decide if I would embrace the prevailing price and add more to my position, or if I will exit. There is nothing alarming, I only sounded a note of caution.

Haha. I almost chuckled when I saw the post. As if imported palm oil will suddenly flood the market next weekend and one bottle will become N300.
crownprince2017:
Once price start retracing like 10-20% people start looking for excuses without deep understanding of the underlying business under a particular stock.

No analysis we no go see for presco, we keep buying because it's our joy that it's coming down so that we can load at cheaper rate..

People will still queue for presco at 3k before the end of the year..

You can take this to bank. grin grin

Not sure why anyone should buy Airtel since all they do everyday is back back their own stock. Please someone should tell them it's not by force to be public. They can take it private so they don't distort the ASI

Thanks.
AIRTEL share buyback program is a structured one to be done in tranches and they already commenced even before the rally in NGX started......if I get it right.
It's one of the ways to enhance value for shareholders.....but because the share price has gone up high before now, it kinds of get stucked.
It has smaller OS compared to MTNN
However, I expect that they should come and make it a bit liquid at least.

Don't get it mixed up. I dont think it is ''crushed''
Zichis declared a bonus of 1-for-1, so the price will be halved on the qualifying date.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ogawisdom(m): 3:26pm On Mar 17
In October 2025 I decided to keep only one banking stock, I sold off Access, UBA, Fidelity, GTCO and put everything in Zenith with a break even price of 61. Just look at Zenith now grin grin grin.

I am keeping Zenith forever, my children will inherit it in my will. It's my dividend machine.

i remember all the OANDO talks in the good old days of SMN....one of the most active thread those days

More than 15 years plus after....nothing has still changed about the coy and yet some investors carry mind dey get hope there

Some people just enjoy loosing money sha cheesy
There is time any season for everything under the sun. Oando’s season has come. The stars favour the company at this present juncture.
The 2nd TOR of the newly constituted presidential petroleum committee is to unlock 5-10B usd for local players in the sector. Also the NNPC gas master plan recently unveiled the GMD of NNPC promised to unleash unprecedented value. The company is a connected entity if you know what I mean. Let me stop here. Not acting as a financial advisor for anyone. I have vested interest in OANDO so my opinion maybe biased.

I have two banking stock Zenith and Access the abiku.
Zenith has done 80% from August last year and abiku Access is 7% in the negative from same period.
Even OANDO has outperformed Access the great abiku.

"Crushed" may not be far from the case. I am sure that the 1 for 1 was dictated by the regulator as part of the investigation and crackdown on "manipulaton" with intent to reduce scarcity by doubling OS.

Okay, maybe they didn't crush, but just clipped Zichis wings, became it was flying too high.

No regulator can dictate bonus or dividend to management. How would the regulator create the additional shares as bonus or cash as dividend?
What the regulator could do is to suspend and investigate, which they have done. And the suspension will be lifted soon afterwards.

Access will bounce back, surely.
It is part of FUGAZ, so its value will be close to UBA and FBN when it bounces back

You can subscribe to cscs to get all the details. However that is if you have a clearing house number and it's same for all the shares.

Secondly maybe through the portal for dividend yet unclaimed, search with your name to see dividend you are yet to claim.

It's Ex-Div and Ex-bonus.
Qualification Date was yesterday, so price was marked down today.

Bonus: 1:1
Dividend: 0.20k

My own question is this:
Was NGX supposed to honour the declared div and bonus while on suspension?
So, the purpose of the suspension has been defeated in my opinion.
