Stockhunter:Access Bank hit N30 in January of 2024 and dropped to around N16 which is almost 50%. So, 50% drop is not impossible, but it will be measured from its ath of N30. |

KarlTom:Diesel price was around N1050 in first week of January 2026. Today, diesel price is nearing N1700 per litre. Find out how many production plants in Nigeria run on diesel due to unreliable electricity supply. 100% of them do. If they pay more for diesel to run their plants, what do you think will happen to their cost of production if they decide to maintain the same level of output? On transportation cost, imagine a third party logistics provider who is contracted by Honeywell flours to transport a truckload of flour from Ogun state to Ibadan on a fixed payment of N500,000 as of first week of January 2026 when diesel price was N1050. Now that diesel price has gone up to N1700, do you think the trucking company will continue to charge or accept same N500,000 for the same trip? Take pen and paper and do the analysis yourself. You can disagree with what I've said but do it based on data and common sense. Data and facts don't lie. |

Stockhunter:Nobody loses money by failing to put their money in the stock market. Losing or gaining money is actually activated the moment you commit and enter the market with your funds. Once you are in, price can move for or against you. You assume the person who is waiting for a market correction is doing nothing with their money while they wait. Who says so? They can be in treasury bills, bonds and commercial papers while they wait. These are low risk and also offer returns that beat inflation in a well managed economy. The world's greatest investor Warren Buffet has been sitting on a pile of cash and cash equivalents for some months now, waiting for red day. Do you want to call him a fool? |

ojeysky:What baffles me is how most black world do not treat our leadership choices like our investment choices. In this forum there are so many people who know very well that this family their leadership style is the more you look the less you see and as such will not invest in their business or only do so on the basis of luck but at the same time they support Tinubu to take Nigeria to eldorado. E.g Oga Emma will not touch Oando even with a long spoon because of the personality or family running it but at the same time he is pro Tinubu to lead Nigeria to the promised land. Can an apple fall far from its tree? |

Because diesel have gone up amount to companies making loss or because these companies passes the cost to the consumers means the consumers wouldn't eat again? Just in 2024 diesel was above 2k and PMS was above 1500. Why market did not crash. Because of small deep in the market, we no come here words again, I'm sure in 2024 u guys were expecting serious crash but it didn't happen because there is no structural problem that will crystalized your mere opinions based on emotions and over thinking. Follow the cpo price in the word and see the reason why u will never get presco at 1400-1500 infact after q1 based on my data and information u wouldn't even get it at sub 2k. Somebody talk of flooding, where will the flood comes, is it not from importation, check the world price for cpo today compared to the same period last year. I repeat you will queue for presco above 3k, time frame dec 2026. |

Valthegreat:This is not true. Iran was attacked first for political reasons. In fact, the U.S. has no clear, universally agreed justification for doing so. The U.S. has largely contributed to the current fuel crisis affecting the world, not Iran. If you don’t understand the mechanics of the conflict, ask questions or read more to gain a clearer perspective. |

Just recently Malaysia reported flood wiped out about 15-17% of there palm production, do you think that gap will be filled in 1-2 years. Biodesel 50 in Indonesia is gaining serious momentum which is already reducing exportation from their country already, wait for full implementation in q3 and see something. I don't even want to talking about crude oil price effect. Let me give you what is playing out locally, for Jan to February the price was 40-45k In March the price ranges between 35-40k Compare the price to the same period last year yourself. Note: Feb -march is the pick harvest period for palm in Nigeria. |

The United States has been informed by most of our NATO “Allies” that they don’t want to get involved with our Military Operation against the Terrorist Regime of Iran, in the Middle East, this, despite the fact that almost every Country strongly agreed with what we are doing, and that Iran cannot, in any way, shape, or form, be allowed to have a Nuclear Weapon. I am not surprised by their action, however, because I always considered NATO, where we spend Hundreds of Billions of Dollars per year protecting these same Countries, to be a one way street — We will protect them, but they will do nothing for us, in particular, in a time of need. Fortunately, we have decimated Iran’s Military — Their Navy is gone, their Air Force is gone, their Anti-Aircraft and Radar is gone and perhaps, most importantly, their Leaders, at virtually every level, are gone, never to threaten us, our Middle Eastern Allies, or the World, again! Because of the fact that we have had such Military Success, we no longer “need,” or desire, the NATO Countries’ assistance — WE NEVER DID! Likewise, Japan, Australia, or South Korea. In fact, speaking as President of the United States of America, by far the Most Powerful Country Anywhere in the World, WE DO NOT NEED THE HELP OF ANYONE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.
