I was able to get an Engineer whose specialty was on Mercedes, BMW and Audi. These were the only cars parked at his workshop. Beastly cars i tell you. Saw some mad ass AMGs and Audi Q7's. He ran a scan.

I did a full servicing using the recommended Castrol 5W30.

The issue with the iDrive is software related and i have engaged a friend to help with an update.

On Ground clearance, the Engineer warned me severely not to increase the shocks citing driving instability and aesthetics as reasons. I quite agree with him.

On Tire Pressure, one of the sensors was bad. After getting a new one, the tires were reduced to the recommended psi and the light vanished.

On Seatbelt light, the sensor is bad. This was replaced too. My Dashboard is clean and clear and devoid of any light.

Yesterday i took it to a carwash to do a deep cleaning and vacuuming.

Whenever i drive, people turn to have a second look. One said 'Oga, na machine you carry so o.'

It is not everyday you get to see a sleek, silent and fully tinted BMW on the road

Everything is set and i cannot wait for this new driving experience!

Hello guys, has anyone bought a water pump recently? I need a sure plug for n55 water pump.

i currently have a few issues with my e36, just fell short of stock standard:

My engine, having run hot,when the ignition is turned off, it does hesitate to shut down.
i have black fumes (lightly) out of the exhaust pipe (running rich) and the idling has dropped a little (say, from its supposed 750 to a little above 500, estimate 600).
The car also hunts sometimes (and other times goes off from critically hunting).

THINGS I HAVE DONE:
1. i have tested the MAF, replaced it with other MAFs but same problem.
2. Changed the ECU, no improvement
3. Cleaned injectors, same story.
4. Oil changed etc but no general improvement... Take time to look for good bmw mechanic to fix the problem. Some fake mechanics do cause serious damage to bmw because of its complex electrical system ..they almost spoilt my BMW 320i until i got a good rewire to fix the ICU after i have purchased same for three consecutive times at the rate of 250k per one. I got fed up before God helped me to locate the man that helped me to fix the car' I have no major issue since i have been using it after repairs since 2023..Infact it is difficult for me to do away with the car because of its power drive

i don't know whether its a clogged PCV...please help with suggestions and solutions.
