Good evening everyone. I don't know what is wrong with my Meristem app. The order that I placed on Monday which was expired was executed on Tuesday at 2x the amount of units I ordered. Now I'm with a negative balance on my stock account which I'm planning on funding to get other stocks, I'm afraid I'll get debited. Anyone experiencing similar issues with Meristem and possible solutions. |

106 properties in London alone. How many in New York, UAE, Canada and even other states of the UK. A mighty university in Nigeria and other real estate. Yet they keep telling investors to be patient as diaspora expansion will pay in a few years. Chai. |

Mpeace:Opened an Ikoyi palace that Dangote and Otedola came to admire two weeks before he took the journey of fate, according to media. All properties not supported by his salary, allowances, etc should form a mighty real estate subsidiary of Access Holding. |

Guys, I have some preliminary Q1 numbers for my trading, they're pretty compared to last quarter. N1.65bn with 2.16% net margins traded compared to N669m at 1.32 the quarter still does have 2 more days sha, but i just finished vibe coding this income statement feature so I'm happy to share. Full quarter volume will be above N1.7b with earnings likely to top N37m I paid N1.3m for just stamp duties alone ![]()

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 10:54am On Mar 28 |
SonofElElyonRet:😁😁😁 Full year target is N50bn volume at 2-5% net margins. Usually over 80% of the gains are realized at any point in time, the unrealized portion is always below 20%. I'm particular about that. 😁 |

Kudos. This is a bit of an unconventional way to represent the top line of a proprietary trading business. If you could explain: What does "Gross Profit" here mean, and how did you estimate it? awesomeJ: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 12:26pm On Mar 28 |
HesInMe:Great questions. As for the top line, Total volume traded is more important than just sales in this business, maybe you do not agree. As for the gross profit. I was already thinking it was too vague in the report while i went to my barber's this morning. I'm back now, and i've updated the code to add more context. Gross profit = Total sales - value of stocks held at start - value of stocks purchased + value of stocks held at end. see:

awesomeJ:That edge will be quickly eroded once others catch on to what you’re doing (Have been eating from it too in the last few months). This strategy won’t last long if you keep exposing it, buying from impatient sellers and flipping for small profits. You should already be planning your next strategy, because at this rate, you’ll soon be sharing those returns with a wave of new entrants, some of whom may be even smarter and more resourceful than you. You dey make money, enjoy your money na, make the thing no cast. ![]() |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 12:38pm On Mar 28 |
ositadima1:You mean your own strategy will soon cast You don't have any clue on what I do so why not speak just on the one you understand. When you say a strategy will cast, it's only your own strategy that will experience that cos that's the only one you know. This is an upgrade though from when you thought it was all false or that it could only work in a bull market. You always try to explain something you're completely clueless about. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by HesInMe: 3:31pm On Mar 28 |
No offence, but the big changes in your starting (21 vs 11m) and ending (57 vs 48m) equity balances make this report a little suspicious o. I'm not questioning your legitimacy. But the beginning and ending balances are usually the surest numbers: You get them from trading account statement balances; they're not calculated like trading volumes are. Maybe check again? awesomeJ: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 3:34pm On Mar 28 |
HesInMe:I don't get what you mean? Could you point out the figures you're not clear with? I think your questions are asked in good faith, so we're good, and I'd be happy to clarify. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by HesInMe: 3:36pm On Mar 28 |
I updated the post with numbers. Please see. awesomeJ: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 3:37pm On Mar 28 |
@HeisinMe, it looks like you edited your post to mention the specific figures you're not clear about. 11m is value of equity(stocks alone) held in January. 21m is the portfolio value( 11m stocks + 10m cash) Usually 10-70% of my portfolio is held in cash. It has to be that way for every trader. I hope this is clear now. I also think the reports labels them distinctly?? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by HesInMe: 3:54pm On Mar 28 |
Ah, okay. That makes sense now. The numbers add up. That's actually a remarkable performance for the quarter. Well done! Do you do as well in bear markets? awesomeJ: |

ositadima1:What strategy are you using please. Let learn from it. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 4:17pm On Mar 28 |
isaacosas01:It's proprietary, it's spiritual too. The evidence that it works can be seen from my posts here like mentioning the thresholds the index will cross per time, saying japaual won't hit #5 when some people thought there was $21bn gold worth that would push it to #1000,and recently stating that PRESCO would close on full bid this past Monday. I said that the Friday before. If you can be right about most of these projections, it's only natural for your results to reflect your accuracy. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by isaacosas01(m): 4:28pm On Mar 28 |
awesomeJ:I understand you can’t share proprietary knowledge publicly. I pray you keep winning. You inspire me to take the NGX seriously, your numbers are unreal! Well-done! On market outlook, March was flat, what do you think Q2 on the NGX will bring? |
