Are you feeling dazed already?
Access is oscillating around N26
Abeg I no get business with Access Bank that want to prove EDUECO wrong with their kalo kalo acquisitions.
Wigwe would have increased the properties to 200 by now through the recent acquisitions that happened after his death. Perhaps the ratio was 10 properties per acquisition. grin grin grin

EDUECO:
Why are you so concerned about ACCESSCORP that will pay dividend for 2025 financial year? cheesy

You should be concerned about Last Bank (First Bank) that won't pay dividend, but the stock price has been pump from ₦30 to ₦52.
I don't understand your comment.
Somebody said he is not seeing the price of Access on the equity list and I told him Access is selling around N26. And I jokingly asked him if he was feeling dizzy.
So many folks here have Access in their portfolio, even if they are making fun just to amuse ourselves. I just finished loading my units last week.

Wether in life or death, I doubt if he asked to be conferred with sainthood. He was a business man.

leo1234:
Wigwe was a great man.

An excellent business man and I admired him a lot. But he is not a Saint.

EDUECO:
ACCESSCORP has paid annual dividends for the last 20 years; so ACCESSCORP is not FirstHoldCo with recent poor dividend history.

Like I wrote in one of my posts, management of companies make good money by inflating cost of doing business just like politicians inflate the cost of contracts or projects.
And he will have other investments aside from AccessCorp, investments like foreign real estate.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by EDUECO(m): 3:24pm On Mar 30
Skype Bank acquired Afribank Bank and died. Skye Bank was later taken over by CBN it is now called Polaris Bank.

Access Bank acquired Intercontinental and Diamond Banks.

I am very sure Access Bank will acqure First Bank one day! grin

In US Dollars,Jim Ovia earned more than 20 million as dividends for 2024 financial year from Zenith Bank; and this money can buy 20 properties in London.
You go see 3 bedroom house for London for 500k pounds. Not to talk of the compounding nature of these investments.

I am willing to bet that most of these properties were bought by a family office and he doesn't know 98% of them.

Hmm! This your logic didn't follow a logical pattern abi na my Philosophy lecturer no teach me well.
Since Sky Bank acquired Afribank and died afterwards. Then Access Bank that acquired Intercontinental and Diamond will collapse for CBN to take over and rename them Sign Post Bank. LWKMD grin grin
Abeg na only logic i dey analyse.

I was once a client of Skye bank and I knew it will fold.

I was once a client of First bank and it has the signs of a bank that may fold up before 30 years.

1. 20m in which currency?
2. Are you saying he (wigwe) applied all his dividends into buying properties? You've done an investigation? Perhaps he also used his dividends to establish the "high luxury/top notch" university in Nigeriahuh

We are talking about the founder of one of the largest banks in Africa and you are mentioning a public servant.

You no see where the problem start to begin?
Did u follow the take over of intercontinental bank by this man facilitated under Sanusi. Who was he before then and his financial worth and liability.
All the people who lost thr investment in intercontinental won't be finding your post funny. The bank is vehicle for financial crime/money laundry. It will bust one day.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mankind2024: 4:18pm On Mar 30
Logic is a criterion for evaluating arguments.
In this context:
Skye Bank acquired Afribank and subsequently collapsed ("KPAI"wink. (T)
It was later taken over by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and rebranded as Polaris Bank.(T)
Access Bank has acquired both Intercontinental Bank and Diamond Bank.(T)
Question: What is the logical fate of Access Bank?
Conclusion:
Therefore, Access Bank is on its way to suffering the same fate that befell Skye Bank. This statement is true. There is no negation to warrant further argument.

This is an example of logical analysis, similar to the following inference:
EDUECO is a forum member of NSEMPA.(T)
99% of NSEMPA members are investors or traders in the NGX.(T)
Therefore, EDUECO is most likely an investor or trader.(T)

I am surprised an experienced man like nosa2 is putting up this argument.

Nigeria is a crime scene with high level of impunity.

Thanks. Wigwe's money is a long accummulated and compounded money for over 3 decades of successful, diligent, focused and highly rewarding career.

The only issue that is inexplainable to me is how and why Access Bank can be owing Intercontinental Bank billions, shown in their books and the then CBN did not go after Access Bank to pay off the loan but instead shut down Intercontinental Bank and sold it to Access bank, its creditor. That is abracadabra!

If you sell your shares a day after the qualification date, will you still be entitled to the dividend or bonus?

nicestlady:

Yes. Just don't sell before the qualification date if you want to receive dividend or bonus.
But the share price will be adjusted for the dividend or bonus on the day after the qualification date.

Accesscorp with a huge retain earnings is busy taking over banks in other country. Make them consolidate and manage them efficiently.
I learnt wigwe and Aig started this bank at a very young age. If he could possess such a talent then, he could explore real estate as well
