With due respect, the story trended at that time. We remember reading that 5 bank's CEOs petitioned the President about someone becoming the CBN governor to the extent of publishing it in the newspapers and a notable politician took it up with the President and the person became the CBN governor and eventually, bingo the 5 banks were judged to commit the unpardonable sins and were brought down, balkanised and sold-off.

It is difficult to proof that other banks that we know were not doing exactly the same things these 5 banks were purnished for, isn't that how businesses were being done in Nigeria?

Thank you for bringing back the memory.

How many person wan remember for that saga?

Lol. And they will still mark it down for dividend. May however recover later. Most analysts are positive on the stock.

lol if the company paying 15 is Okomu, then you mad the better decision selling it to buy WAPCO paying N6.
WAPCO dividend ratio/percentage is 2.78%, while Okomu N15 has a ratio/percentage of 0.85%.

So WAPCO is giving a high percentage dividend

no,wapco has lost n15 since I left my aradel to pick wapco's n6 dividend ending on friday.it was a grave mistake,I left aradel after the cut hoping to comeback after getting this 6naira ooo.now the 6naira don hang me for neck.

This maths is not adding up.

Did you use the final DIV or Total DIV for calculating the %

You're very ignorant if you think trading is illegal in a stock market, or if you think the only way to succeed in it is via sharp practices.

If you have 1% knowledge, what you need to do is calm down and understand that there are people with 10000000% knowledge and they will definitely succeed in areas where you struggle.

What you should worry about is your constant request for people to drop insider information for you, that's what is illegal and I've warned you about it previously. Requesting for and using insider info is illegal and you should stop it.

Smart trading on the other hand is not only legal but something the people at the exchange will celebrate us for when the time is right.

5% (55/1095) dividend yield shoudn’t tank a stock in this current market, especially when the fundamentals are intact.
