For GT in bolded. Not really a surprise. N12.76 total div
Sunrisepebble:
GTCO from their H1 call they’re targeting 60% payout ratio which translates to around N13-14 dividend but from an insider CBN might moderate that to around 8-9 which means around 9-10 for FY
NFA

It is 60% of CORE EARNINGS that they plan to pay. That way dividend is not affected by extra ordinary incomes.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Byankee: 5:47pm On Mar 31
no other sector can do 10% dividends to share price ratio like the banks
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 5:48pm On Mar 31
You’re right, forgot to add of distributable income

So, Banks Recapitalization aimed at ensuring Capital Quantity ends today 31st March 2026.

Stress Test focused on confirming Capital Quality and Resilience against economic shocks starts tomorrow 1st April 2026.

After that, Banks that met the Recapitalization but flunked the Stress Test to proceed on another 18month round of money raising to Bridge the Gap

Hmm, It may or may not yet be Uhuru for a banking sector rampaging bull but I may be wrong.

I will always be grateful to Oracle. I acted when he mentioned GTB then. After selling me holding, I had to jump in as he mentioned repeatedly. God bless you Oracle wherever you are.

Nigerian banks should generally increase their payout ratio because that might help repricing towards EMEA/ African averages. The days of 15-25% payout ratio should be a thing of the past if we want to see better pricing. No better way to instill confidence in the numbers / AFS being churn other than a healthy payout ratio, otherwise the numbers/ AFS will be taken as "audio" and same will ultimately reflect in pricing.

[quote author=222Martins post=138951075]Did a UCAP insider just drop his private account details in public?

With due respect, you are doing exactly what the person did. Those of us here don't have seen the pricate account if YOU did not post it here. You are as quilty as the initiator. Next tine, just share the text but not the account.

GTCO is taking doing this. There is a reason they have a P/E of 4x while other are still at 2x and below. I think this dividend should push them to 5x P/E

I don't think Final Dividend out yet.
The last one paid in Aug 2025 was 0.22k (Interim).
They are proposing 33kobo final dividend making it 55kobo in total. Though not yet stated in their corporate announcement but it's in the published full year account statement
