KarlTom:How has US ''lost'' the war? The US is trying to avoid bombing and destroying everything in Iran, because it would affect the innocent civilians (who even protested against the Ayatollah regime), and also affect the global oil prices. If not for US restraint, Israel would have destroyed all the oil, power, water, and other economic infrastructure in Iran. The problem that US has is Donald Trump himself, because he talks too much and is inconsistent and unstable. Some of the things he says are totally unnecessary and unpresidential, and that is what Iran is taking advantage of |

GeeKudi:GeeKudi, the war cannot be ended like a football match because the war was not started wantonly, without a reason, in the first place. The war was started for the existential purpose (for Israel) to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapon(s). The way to end the war is for the Iran Regime to renounce in a variable way the pursuit of nuclear weapons. Or for the Regime to be taken out and be replaced by a moderate government (regime change). That is, Iran changes it's policies or it's policy makers gets changed. Trump is in in a dilemma over the war. The war is an existential imperative for the defence of Israel. On the other hand, the war drives up fuel prices at home plus the risk of bringing home high military casualties, with costly political consequences for the President especially in an election year. So Trump wants to continue the war and at the same wants to end it, with crude oil responding to his every cough or grunt. |

Iran is not going to give up anything. Whatever Iran is doing is motivated by the ideology that they are doing it for 'god'. If you are going into a war with them. go all in and get the job done and not just some media propaganda. Recession is around the corner. zendi: |

GeeKudi:They actually shouldnt give anything up. The injustice and lopsidedness of the world is sickening. If the attackers could let them invade and take the stockpile. It will be at a huge human and economic toll. This is the reason previosu POTUS had shied away from this senseless adventure. |

I was thinking that we would have another FUGAZ bank declared dividend today before we enter the holiday. It is cool knowing I have some GTCO dividend in the cooler some where. I can even borrow some money to enjoy my Easter first. ![]() |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ppogba: 11:44am On Apr 02 |
jonnysessy:And give your creditor 28th April as the settlement date. The day is still young. A FUGAZ may drop today and of it fails, latest next Tuesday because of the holidays. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 11:45am On Apr 02 |
GeeKudi:Lol, how exactly do you intend to get that done? Iran’s terrain alone is a massive advantage, and that’s before even considering the fact that they’ve been preparing for this scenario for years. The U.S. would suffer heavy casualties if it pursued a ground invasion, and it still will not win the war. Anyway, you’ll understand when it starts unfolding. |

What is driving the U.S. is hubris, the sense of invincibility that will be badly punctured. ![]() |

SonofElElyonRet:Alhaji's refinery is midstream/downstream (not upstream like Seplat, Oando and Aradel). If FG does not sabotage it with the naira for crude, supply shortage and refined products imports, it could probably outstrip the upstream companies because it enjoys some unique monopoly advantage. But the IPO price may affect how much of it investors could buy and benefit going forward. |

Even the Bible says you would be romancing shame if you just clear a plot of land and start building without a workable plan on how to complete the building. You go into a war with Iran with the aim of stopping their nuclear programme and you don't have a plan of how you're to seize theie purpoted stock pile of nuclear materials? Killing an individual, Khameneir (abi how do they even spell his name), or a number of them was never going to stop an ideology motivated by religion. Let them end everything as soon as possible so people can drive their cars again. ositadima1: |
