So Brent is more accessible now?

the US and Isreal are bidding there time to see the best weapons russo-Iranian can field
RodgersAkpafu:
So far though, Iran has given a good account of themselves

Their valiant and defiant stance in the face of twin US - Israel recklessness is commendable

However this holding of the strait hostage is very sticky and because of how it is affecting markets, this is a hornets nest that can snowball into something else in future

Im just hoping for a resolution

WTI is more accessible that is why it is costlier.

Negative
Those twin terrorists have thrown EVERYTHING they can at the Iranians, and as their will have not been broken, they are now resorting to war crimes

But slaves of the "Christian industrial comolex" of Nigeria are cheering on the twin war criminals because they wrongly think this is a religious crusade
But thats aside

Let this war wind down let us see road
Iran has given a good account of themselves and post war, they should even arm up more national security and ballistic defenses and attack

Judging by the trend last year and this year, the zios will be back next year and the year after till orange man is out of the WH

You suspect him of being a great asset to NSEMPA, right?
Some of us have confirmed this since the time FMN was delisted.
Please we only like good suspicion here. T for thanks 🙂

This is massive. It may have not surpassed GTCO. But, it is really a welcome development. ❤️I love Zenith Bank. cool

Fully priced in, may settle below 90 after all the noise settles

Someone managing to make his second post on this thread can't try such. Though, it is like the lady sabi stocks and very active on this forum. Will not mind to learn from her. I know she is into Oando and UCAP, i also have little shares in both companies. grin

This ''fully priced in'' could be misleading.
The phrase ''fully priced in'' means that nothing would change (positive or negative) as a result of the news or information.
So if you think that the price may fall from N103 to N90, then it means that the information in the news had not been ''fully priced in.''
There is always information asymmetry in the market

with the way uba shares are being sold massively, people have seen the results and its surely not good
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeneralDae: 10:54am On Apr 07
Nigeria doubled its crude supply to Dangote Refinery in March.
NNPC: 5 cargoes/month → 10 cargoes/month
Aliko Dangote personally confirmed this information today.

What the refinery is doing with it:
🛢️ Now supplying 60% of Nigeria's refined petroleum products.
⛽ Covering ~90% of Nigeria's petrol needs
📦 Exports to Africa: 214,000 bpd (up from 100,000 in February)
🌍 Tanzania: received its first-ever Dangote cargo in March

The catch that remains:
The refinery needs 13–15 shipments per month to run at full capacity.
At 10 cargoes, it's still operating below optimum.

Domestic fuel prices in Nigeria: still at record highs.

Africa's largest refinery is filling a gap the Gulf can no longer fill.
But it can't fill it fast enough — not yet.

Data Explained
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 10:59am On Apr 07
This is a grave assumption.

Zenith and GTCO sold MORE than UBA in the last 4weeks...

I am suspecting the same here too. Don't forget that African Prudential, UCAP, Transcorp, Transcorp Power and Transcorp Hotel didn't do anything fantastic in dividend this year. Also, don't forget Elumelu own all this companies mentioned. Anything less than N5.00k final dividend, i will sell-off. But, i will be patient to wait for the declaration first.

I'm sitting on cash not knowing what to buy in this market. I have been buying Transcorp at 48.
Anyone knows where I can put cash and earn some returns, but still flexible to take it out anytime if there is an opportunity in the market?

By accessible, do you mean to buyers? If that's the case, wouldn't it be cheaper?

I apparently do not understand much but WTI always trailed Brent.

Bank stocks like GTCO and Zenith are quite liquid and offering some dividends at the moment. The only thing that can't be guaranteed is the value of your initial outlay (i.e. principal are you there?) when you want to use it for another opportunity.

Baba Olowo promax!
Why not put some in Treasury bills or Commercial papers, and use the discount (interest) to invest in some good stocks?
The TB and CP would, at least, guarantee that your principal is protected can be redeemed after a year.
You may also wait until Jun/Jul and buy Dangote refinery when the IPO comes out.
