I am suspecting the same here too. Don't forget that African Prudential, UCAP, Transcorp, Transcorp Power and Transcorp Hotel didn't do anything fantastic in dividend this year. Also, don't forget Elumelu own all this companies mentioned. Anything less than N5.00k final dividend, i will sell-off. But, i will be patient to wait for the declaration first.
u are ambitious, N5.00k bawo, be happy if u see 3 naira

GeneralDae:
Nigeria doubled its crude supply to Dangote Refinery in March.
NNPC: 5 cargoes/month → 10 cargoes/month
Aliko Dangote personally confirmed this information today.

What the refinery is doing with it:
🛢️ Now supplying 60% of Nigeria's refined petroleum products.
⛽ Covering ~90% of Nigeria's petrol needs
📦 Exports to Africa: 214,000 bpd (up from 100,000 in February)
🌍 Tanzania: received its first-ever Dangote cargo in March

The catch that remains:
The refinery needs 13–15 shipments per month to run at full capacity.
At 10 cargoes, it's still operating below optimum.

Domestic fuel prices in Nigeria: still at record highs.

Africa's largest refinery is filling a gap the Gulf can no longer fill.
But it can't fill it fast enough — not yet.

Data Explained
Is it not better NNPC supply the max Dangote refinery can take. With Nigeria selling the finished products instead of raw crude. Will selling finished products not earn more money for NNPC/FGN than selling raw crude?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 11:41am On Apr 07
There are existing contracts that must be honoured. I suspect that they are able to give more to Dangote now because production has improved.

Lol. If you had inside info, your moves would also be "strategic."
You may need to read the man's trading/investing positions here to know that his enormous strength transcends insider information.

At the end of those contracts, will it not earn more money for FGN to sell finished petroleum products than selling crude? What other catch dey apart from existing contracts that will end someday?

The market is bearish. I suspect Donald Trump's illegal war in the Middle East is contributing. I am sceptical to invest in the NGX these days as we will be impacted if the world heads to a global recession, which may be imminent.

Nigeria owns only 7.25% of the refinery.

Maybe you have a definition for what a contract means that allows unilaterally opting out at one party's convenience?

Why is Dangote asking more than 7.25% of the refineries needed cargoes? NNPC can be become a petroleum products seller as well and not be a crude only (and petroleum products importer, that one with wide open corruption gates)

Why cant the NGX just delist Airtel Africa? Its geting ridiculous. How can the shares not be available to buy for months?

Proposed a final dividend of N8.75 which in addition to the N1.25 per share as interim dividend amounts to N10.00 per share
What's happening the site is not opening? Looks NGX has unpaid dues or what. Make them resolve am quickly.

Let's not make it personal. But there's so much wrong with this statement. First, you shouldn't be trading at all on inside information. It's actually illegal to do so, and it's the reason insiders are subject to closed periods. Second, you can be smart and still do insider dealing. Doesn't make it legit.

UCAP
Technical view
Triangle consolidation since jan 2025
Awaiting Wave E completion around ₦16 – ₦17.9
Current price: ₦18.05
Triangle invalidation below ₦14.3
Breakout upside target: ₦30 – ₦35
Fundamentals remain solid — no structural issues. The current triangle is a coiled spring, not a sign of weakness. Wave E dip (if it comes) into ₦16–17.9 zone would offer a high-RR entry for those with a medium-term horizon.

What is wrong with the statement? I commented that someone was very strategic and you responded that his being strategic was as a result of insider information. I gave a reply that what made the man thick was beyond insider information. I even advised you to read the man's numerous comment on this thread.

Stick to the disscussion and stop teaching me
your nutshell knowledge of what insider information is.

Why not put some in Treasury bills or Commercial papers, and use the discount (interest) to invest in some good stocks?
The TB and CP would, at least, guarantee that your principal is protected can be redeemed after a year.
You may also wait until Jun/Jul and buy Dangote refinery when the IPO comes out.
I think MMF would be a better option for him.
He can easily withdraw his money back anytime in case opportunities show up in the market.

I do not see the ambitiousness in my expectations. Is UBA moving forward or backward if they pay N3.00k final dividend. Need i remind you that in 2024 financial year UBA paid N2.00k interim dividend and they cap it up with N3.00k final dividend. I am only being conservative and modest here with the expectation of N5.00k final dividend. Afterall, they only paid 0.25k interim dividend. Hence, if they therefore pay N5.00k final dividend they have not done anything spectacular, they only repeated the feat performed last year. Is GTCO and Zenith Bank that declared improved dividend having two heads. cool

(1) The Iranians got the US airman, and are holding him as a war prisoner now.

(2) He died when his plane was shot down.

(3) He is still in the mountains, waiting to be rescued or captured.

I don't know which of the above points you're making by your kpakus arguement above. grin

What I know is that foreign affairs is not your turf at all.
So,you believe all the propagandas from the war morgering nation(the USA).

The USA is not diffrent from Nigerian cults who cannot do without conflicts and killings ! embarassed

I used to like the USA but I no longer fancy the USA because of its love for wars or conflicts. cool

What is still holding Access Bank results? CBN or poor performance?
If CBN has pushed back and they are doing a review, then they should do quick quick

Those twin terrorists have thrown EVERYTHING they can at the Iranians, and as their will have not been broken, they are now resorting to war crimes

But slaves of the "Christian industrial comolex" of Nigeria are cheering on the twin war criminals because they wrongly think this is a religious crusade
But thats aside

Let this war wind down let us see road
Iran has given a good account of themselves and post war, they should even arm up more national security and ballistic defenses and attack

Judging by the trend last year and this year, the zios will be back next year and the year after till orange man is out of the WH
This is nothing but the pure truth!

The USA and Israel are bullying countries they cannot control; but they have likely met their match with Iran.
