Well, i wouldn't know about that. I am not a fan of Ecobank and really don't understand their operations as they are not always paying their shareholders dividend. I only brought the argument about who responded to me that UBA now has more outstanding number of shares. My point was that UBA was not the only bank that increased their outstanding number of shares.
OK.. Noted

Finally. This would increase the inflow of foreign capital into Nigerian Equity market which had been on a significant decline since the strict FX controls in 2021. Rebounded in recent years but only slightly.

ETI will soon release another bad result with no dividend declaration, bogged down by its Nogerian operations!
They've already released unaudited full year results for 2025. EPS is N27.xx, book value is about N150 and return on equity is over 25%. These numbers are better than Zenith.

There only negative for the stock is the negative retained earnings/reserves. And this should turn positive this year. This is also why they haven't paid dividends

So ask once again, have you bought your ETI?

The red of yesterday - 7th April, 2026 was another opportunity to buy your preferred stock at a discount. We expect a bounce today.

That would be a generational buying opportunity.
I’m not a bank analyst, so forgive my rough math. Assuming Zenith have exited their forbearance as at FY25, the way GT had in FY24. If they have GT’s level of impairment in FY26 and assuming earnings are flat and payout ratio is also flat. You’re looking at an EPS of N39 and a DPS of N15+

The way some of you people reason is appalling. Do you know the damage done to Iran will take years, if not decades to fix. At some point you expect the oil route to reopen and that is why just happened but the damage done to Iran and their leaders can't be fixed.

So that was why Iran told its citizens to form human chains as shield around the power plants in order to prevent US and Israel from bombing them to ashes? This, in your thinking, is the action that comes from ''a match in Iran''?
A country that lost virtually all its most important leaders in a space of 1 month? This is the expression and fulfilment of your ''a match in Iran''?
There will always be countries that would behave like Iran because of people like you.

How can we leverage the suspension to build wealth?

Iraq,Afganistan and Libya were also accused of being therorist nations; but history has shown that it was all propangadas.

The UK also used propagadas to start the Opium war in China. The Opium war was started in order to counteract or destroy the advancing Chinese economy .The USA also used the Covid 19 form of propaganda but it never worked against the Chinese economy because China has learned from the Opium war with the UK.

Both the UK and the USA have the same thing in common;if they cannot control you, they will use propagandas to give you a bad name in order to start a war with you. cool
So Iran and its proxies Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis etc. are all propaganda.
A country where women could lose their lives simply because they did not cover their hair!
A country where a young 19 year old boy, a wrestler, could be hanged to death simply because he criticized a president or so called supreme leader? You are a total joke if you support such regime!

What about the damage done to the USA? The petrodollar concept that has helped the U.S. fund its development for almost 50 years is coming to an end. The dollar-for-crude system has been cracked open. It was already happening gradually, with Russia and China increasingly buying and selling crude in non-dollar currencies, and this Iran war will only accelerate that shift.

Regarding Iranian infrastructure, don’t worry, China and Russia are there. Iran will likely rebuild faster than you expect. It has oil (and therefore money) and powerful allies. At the end of the day, they have kept their uranium and still retain the freedom to pursue their missile capabilities. If there was division before, this war may have helped unify the country.

You should be asking: what has the U.S. actually gained from this campaign?

Netanyahu will likely be dissatisfied, as his objective appears to have been the complete destruction of Iran to secure uncontested power in the Middle East.

If I were Iran, I would quickly restock from China and Russia, especially anti-missile systems and air defenses, because Netanyahu could return with another justification for an attack.

The reason Iran has struggled to develop is largely due to sanctions imposed by the U.S. The petrodollar system is very powerful, it gives the U.S. significant influence over global money flows and the ability to pressure weaker countries. If you refuse to play along, you risk being cut off from the global economy.

Even so, Iran is still more developed than Nigeria. We graduate thousands of engineers every year, yet as a nation we struggle to translate that into meaningful technological progress.

With the gradual decline of the petrodollar system and U.S. influence, it will be interesting to see how things unfold in the coming years.

Stop arguing with people who clearly have no idea what’s going on. Ask Street to explain what this war is about, and you’ll be surprised by how little he actually understands. It’s the same issue as always, people take sides based on emotions rather than a clear grasp of the situation.

For those who think critically and genuinely seek the truth, the U.S. will not be the same internationally after this war. Trump will face his downfall sooner rather than later. That’s my prediction, take note.

I’m not here to fight or argue with anyone. This is simply my view. If you disagree, make your own prediction and let time decide.
You didn’t read that the war is about trump dragging girlfriend with the late Iranian leader. Or it is about thr inheritance
For isreal the leaders of the country want death to her citizens like Tinubu don't care about how many Nigerians are killed by terrorist. I hope I now have idea to you..lol
